EC meters

Not sure wether to trust these or not,it says on the nutrient bottle to use a certain amount,i used that amount but the meter is showing up o.9 rather then the recomended 1.5,so do i add more nutes??im growing strawberry cough,so there suposed to be on the low scale of nutes,any opinions??

well the first thing is you should make sure the ec meter is calibrated right.. there arent many on the market that you dont have to calibrate.. if you have one that does need to be calibrated from time to time you should do it now just to make sure things are ok...

other than that if you are trying to grow in a lower nute environment dont add any more.. if your plants start looking like they have a def of some sort up the nute solution... but if they seem fine let it go.. wont know until you see how your plants react...
