Effects of eaten cannabis

I have made a couple different batches of canna butter. Strong stuff too. I do not get a head high from ingested weed though. I do get more relaxed physically and emotionally - which if fabulous for me since I have PTSD and I can feel like a constant tight wire at times from it. So for a true 'medical marijuana' purpose it's great.

So really I'm ok with the no head high - I just smoke some if I want that. But I would like to know if other heavy users have this issue? Is this a tolerance issue cause I hear of people getting blazed on ingested weed and that has never happened with me.

I haven't ingested weed in a while, but I used to do it more than I would smoke. For me I had both a head high and a body high unless I didn't eat enough or make the butter strong enough or whatever. I would try eating more to get a head high.

I can't rember for sure, but when I used to make tea I would use about 1.5 to 2 teaspoons of ground up weed and get a really good head/body high for hours.

Is that buds, leaves, and stems for your tea? So how many grams of ground cannabis makes 1.5 to 2 tsp?
