Electrical Questions,

I've just found I have a 100-150 Amp HOUSE-WIDE limit, its an old place and I did not realize. I have some gardening experience, but NO electrical experience.

I currently have:

37 Inch LG Flatscreen
PS3
Computer
Small dishwasher
Various lights
Fridge

I'm was planning on purchasing 2 x Magnum 357 LED's and all the appropriate pumps, timers, fans, CO2 ect.

How exactly does everything work? If I run extension cords throughout the entire house to distribute the load will that work?

Thanks for all the help guys, sorry again for all the questions and ignorance.

now would be a perfect time to take the money you where planning to spend on LED's and CO2 and instead hire an electrician to come over and install a new designated breaker and run a couple outlets from it to where u plan on growing. I'm doing that right now… my pad is 100 years old and wow was that breaker box a mess!

next subtract the money you just spent on your electrical work from your LED and CO2 budget, take the remainder and buy a HID bulb and ballast and take your girl out to a nice dinner ;)

really tho, CO2 should be the very last thing you do, you will want to iron out your op before adding CO2.

LED's well, yes, I'm a hater (for good reason)… do as u like but you will get much better results from a HID, air cooled reflector, and remote locating your ballast.

^^^good idea. unless you have the money to have an electrician come out and still get the Led's but I would start with HID its going to cost at least one of those magnums for the breaker box
