LECCY BILL FORMULA:

Question:
I have (2) 1000 watt lights and a bunch of fans and a few pumps how much leccy am I using a month, and what does it cost me, on my leccy bill it SAYS I PAY $.09 a KWH or 9 cents.

ANSWER: Ok so lets assume that your fans and pumps Are using 300 watts to run, and then the two 1000 watts are actually using 1100 watts

so 1100+1100+300 = 2500 watts being sucked up every hour

so 2500 watts = 2.5kwh - got that

Now we run this system for 12 hours a day

so 2.5kwh x 12hours = 30kwh/day

however you fans and pumps that use leccy at 300watts/hour run another 12 hours so

300watts X 12more hours = 3600watts = 3.6kwh _lets add this to the 12 hour figure to get how much total we use every day

33.6kwh/DAY TOTAL

Now how many days are in a month (lets assume 30)

so 33.6kwh X 30 = 1008KWH/month

WOW, so now we figureded out how much leccy all our stuff sucks up in a 30 day time frame!!!!!

Answer 10008kwh/MONTH

So how much did you say you paid per kwh again, oh thats right 9 cents or $.09.

Well all we do is multiple

1008kwh X .09 = $90.72/month.

So WE PAY a handsome $90.27 on TOP of our Leccy bill every month.

There you go sport, use that formula and copy paste your own details.
