So I have a 2x3 tent and I am wondering how much do carbon filters use in electricity for a setup like mine?

It depends on the fan, go to your areas electric company website and find the formula they use to charge you electricity, based on the kilowatt hours you use. now find the volt and amp rating for the fan you want to use and plug em into the equation you get from your utility company. and that my stoner friend will give you the EXACT cost of well running anything.

Here is the formula you need to user to find your AMPS for the blower connected to the filter bro:

V= volts
I=watts
R=resistance (amps)

V=IxR

You want to find solve for "R" (use simple high school math to solve for R):

R=I/V

ex.

R=?
V=110 volts
I= 1.7 watts ( it should tell you on the information plate on the fan what the wattage is)

?=1.7/110

R=0.0154

Here is the amperage of a 600w light so you can see how inconsequential your fan is in the grand scheme of things:

A=600w/110v

A=5.54

Hope this helps bro.

it's a fan..so a few cents per month..IMO if you are worried about the most basic item in your setup you shouldn't grow..carb scrub is NOT optional.
