I run 4k of CFL +fans+heater and my bill went up about 15$ and we pay the second highest rate in the country. Not worries with your small setup.

Really. Make sure all the regular lights in your house are CFLs and be conservative with electricity usage in your every day life (plug your electronics and stuff into power strips so you can turn everything off when you aren't using it). Some people run their grow lights during the night so that the meter isn't rapidly spinning during the day when the guy comes to check it. But most importantly pay your bill on time and don't try to steal electricity.

Also, this is assuming you live in a standard, 2-4 bdrm house, not a 500sq ft apartment!

That's what i do, but because I don't want to blow circuits as my service is only 100A.

yea guys i believe that for the electric company to become suspisous u really have to be using a lot of electricity id say more then 3 1000w i think that 2 1000w may be the limit but im not sure maybe someone nos about that??? but my man 100w is nothing. think of wat a family of 4 uses for electicity in a apt or house that never at one time has all power off ya know. Just dont tell anyone what ur doing and ull be fine its all about self preservation have a great day!!! jcream

My post was referring to houses only. I would never grow in an apartment, ever. If you want to grow ganja move into a house.
