Electronic cigarette Vape Pen

I was talking to a sales person the other day at the head shop and they said that some vape-pen (Tips) can fit onto an e-cigs, has anyone heard of this or know what brand of e-cigs would work with this? I hope it works it sound like it would be an cheep and easy hack.

Medstick, gentlemans vape, trippy stick, waxstick, and similar, are all standard 510 threaded direct drip atomizers. Not only will they fit, but there is zero difference between any of the "wax vaporizers" and a generic direct drip ecig. The Medstick XL is simply a rebranded ego XL atomizer (also fits 510 threaded batteries, but looks chunky). There are a few others, but I've never seen one fit anything other than a standard 510 battery thread, bc they are all rebranded generic ecigs, and the cheapest chinese generics all use the standard 510 threading.

Please note that none of these actually vaporize more than they burn. They are even less efficient than the nails they are claiming to emulate. The reason is that the small metal coil which supplies the heat gets red hot and scorches the oil, but isnt big enough to carry the heat past the area where it is in direct contact with the (now burning) oil. I know they are all sold as hash oil vaporizers, but they are just rebranded ecigs that burn. A more accurate description is to call them wax burners, but that wouldnt sell as well.
