That's a rip off, I don't care how fast it buds or how big the harvest.

If you could get some clones off of the plants it might be worht it at 2 times the yield and a thc level at 34% which i never heard of before until now and whos to say that the seeds would even germinate. A few years ago i bought Heavy Duty Fruity seeds 2 different times from planet skunk and out of 20 seeds only 1 germinated out of all those seeds and that 1 never took off ,i ended up tossing it and chalked it off as a learning experience. I am definitely interested if anyone has had any experiences with this particular "super strain"

Yea i know its a scam, forget about the entire website. anyone who sells 500 dollar seeds, with 34% THC and 42 day flowering with a ridiculous yield is a complete moron. erase the website form your mind. I dont know why people keep asking about this website when there are 50 other seed banks that are legit and way better priced.

I take it you dont like BC seeds, right now i order from The Attitude and they have some seeds on ther for $700 for 10 (i would never buy those some sort of G13 strain) but the stats on those elephant buds are really impressive .Im not arguing the fact that it seems like a scam nor do i have any intention of buying them i just want to know if anyone has had any experiences with them. Im leaving my mushy brain open to here what everyone has to say

I hear ya, amv. Sometimes people loose track of the initial question.
I have heard little birds saying that a new super strain has come out multiple times. Typically, nothing lives up to the immense initial hype surrounding it.
As with most other things that sound too good to be true, my bet would be that this site is a rip off.
Is it possible to raise THC to over 30%? Not likely, especially without any special cultural techniques to go along with it. But, cannabis is an amazing plant.
Could the yield really be that high? There is a terrific amount of variation in the cannabis gene pool, some combinations have proven to be particularly productive.
Could the plant mature in just 43 days? There are some fast maturing varieties that have cut flowering time down below 2 months.
The only way that I could think of that would allow a plant to have such extreme expression of these traits is if it were a polyploid. Polyploidies are very interesting, and can exhibit remarkable hardiness, flower formation, and total dry weight. Experiments in the 80s claimed that it increased the levels of cannabinoids as well. However, polyploidies are difficult to work with. They can easily revert back to a normal diploid plant, they can express undesirable overproduction of some chemicals, as well as severely impacting the fertility of future generations. Polyploidies tend to express negative traits more often than they would express positive ones (Plus, to find a plant with all positive traits being expressed would take tens of thousands of plants).

Any one of these traits would be the main selling point for any strain, but to have all of these traits in a single plant seems highly, highly unlikely. A strain like "elephant bud" would have front cover of High Times before the seed company even sold to the public. It would be the breakthrough plant of the century.
It seems that most strains that truly deserve their praise earn it through repeat customers and glowing reviews.

If a strain like this did exist, wouldn't you think that some other "rip off artist" would buy the seeds and breed them to sell at a lower price? People would be ALL over that, sounds like an excellent way to make money, wouldn't you and a million other people agree?

All in all, if there truly did exist a strain with all of the traits advertised for elephant bud, the entire pot community would be abuzz about it... and it's not.

Lifegiver finally someone posts something that makes complete sense. After reading your thread i would have to agree with you 100% . If it were true I wouldn't have to be asking that question ,although it would be awesome if it lived up to the hype. Great reply+ rep. If everyone answered the way you did there would be alot less bickering on these forums. Thanks

I was looking at the BC seeds site and they have very attractive looking seed stock...but is it just hype..? I was also confused about the cash only payments....I live in Australia,so do I send Aussie dollars or Canadian dollars..?
They have another strain that is really Exi... the Euphoria rapid and unlimited are both over $1200.....and this is the blag they have about it
Price: 1,254AUD Product Description
EUPHORIA UNLIMITED BUD - Korean, Nepal Ecuador, Brazil, Denmark Genetics

ORDER ID:CDEUPH - (10 per pack)
As you may already know, we have been dumping tons of money into research and development. We created the last 2 most powerful strains, Elephant and Upstate, all with great feedback from the cannabis community. The really good news is we have not stopped pouring resources in to R&D, and we have developed a very large yielding plant measuring a consistent 36% THC. It also has the best flavor and can grow in cooler climates. It's genetic evolution was painstaking and creates a buzz that lasts for over 8 hours using rare phenotypes for a perfect genetic combination:

We have been really lucky with this rare Korean find. Maybe luck has nothing to do with it because the old saying: "The harder you work, the luckier you get" really is true in all aspects of life.

Anyways, all these new, heavy yields are thanks to the rare Korean we managed to get our hands on.

The Danish underground has really been concentrating on getting the highest THC concentrations and short flowering times for growth in cooler climates, which makes their stuff invaluable for our work

The Nepal was used for it short flowering and most of all for it potent Narcotic Stone.

The Brazilain plant was used to extend the buzz to last 8-10 hours. It makes the perfect CBD and THC combo.

The Ecuador genetics smooth out the harshness of the actual smoke of the Nepal influence. This was very difficult, as nothing seemed to be able to smooth out this powerful smoke. We almost used a Peruvian strain for this purpose, but it just didn't work as well as we wanted, so we were very lucky to find the Ecuadorian that solved the puzzle.

Many actors are requesting this strain and are paying $60+/gram. They are saying it's better than the "skinny drug" because the high is more Euphoric, lasts longer with no hangovers, allowing them to work the following day. Also, they are getting 10 times the doses from a single gram at half the cost of the "skinny drug".

The first puff has your heart starts racing and you immediately feel your eyes glaze over in pink, soon to be a very bright red. You taste kerosene at first, then chocolate and bubblegum on the exhale. The after-taste is berries, many types from around the world. One more small puff and you'll be cruising for 5 hours. A total of 4 puffs and you'll be Euphoric for 8-10 hours +

INDICA 76%

SATIVA 24%

COMES IN PACK OF 10 ONLY - DO NOT ASK FOR SMALLER PACKS

so,I guess I'll have to wait till I've got some money to burn and take the plunge or I will never know what I'm missing
