I am pretty happy with my diy build led panel with 24 1foot double row (72diods) 3500k

I been thinking about adding 660nm.
-what does adding 660nm for my plants?
I have readen bigger buds, more yield and more tricomes? Is that real?
How much % of the light should be 660nm.

And a question to 730nm;
730nm i thought more than 4watts on 1m2 for more than 10 Minuten +- would be Bad for plants, but a have seen a lot lights with 660+730 with no switch oof.
And i thought its just good for night Initiation?

Has anybody done a comparative test with white leds and white with addet 660nm

Iam realy confused.i serace for REAL results for a long time now :((
It Fels like every big led company juse extra 660nm in there flower lights?
But what does it realy do for me whats the real bennefit ;(

Emerson effect with 660nm and 730nm diodes.
Run all day long.
Wiki
The Emerson effect is the increase in the rate of photosynthesis after chloroplasts are exposed to light of wavelength 680 nm (deep red spectrum) and more than 680 nm (far red spectrum). When simultaneously exposed to light of both wavelengths, the rate of photosynthesis is far higher than the sum of the red light and far red light photosynthesis rates. The effect was early evidence that two photosystems, processing different wavelengths, cooperate in photosynthesis.[1]

End of Day treatment 730nm only.
After lights out for 10 - 15 minutes after main lights out.
Here's some examples of far red only
And a 2 channel option

I'm running white enhanced spectrum strips from
https://diyleduk.com/collections/scoper-stripkits/products/scope-70-v2-enhanced-full-spectrum-diy-led-strip-kit-lm301b-red
120x 3000k (LM301B) + 6x Deep red + 2x Far red leds for the Emerson effect.
Hope that helps you understand a bit better :D

How much of thes strips do you juse?
I want to know how much far red you juse per sf or m2 ? Do it damage your plants when its on for so long?

I know the facts, but i like to see results in the real world, paper is easy;)

What are the change after jusing enhanced spectrum ?

-Do i get more bud, or just bigger(fluffier) buds
-What does it with the potence, i have herad that the Last 2 Week should be more blue than red.
-i have heard of shorter flowertime ,but at the same less yield
-more growth but i heard its just more length grow
...

What i was thinking about was adding 15% of 660nm , in its oen circl so i can switch in and of when i want ( would switch on for rooting than stop , and put back on after stretch in flower ,and switch off the Last 2 weeks)

I would love to see a real comparativ grow ;(

Here's a few threads might be of interest in your quest of reds, far red
You have probably seen these threads?

On faster flower: recent tests ive seen had 2700k 90cri against 3000k 80cri + red supplement: both having similar end spectrum and 2700k was almost a week faster and nicer finish.

Emmerson: what ive heard its mainly working on low light levels, once youre over 600ppfd its not really noticeable. But adding some red and far red should benefit in flower.

End of day treatment at light out: speeds up flower if done right. But if you dont compensate the total light given you may lose yield. Although most examples ive seen yield stayed similar.
