Environment "Humidity"

Okay so I've been working on some ideas on how to stabilize my room's humidity but I run into other problems.

you can see what im working with in my blog/ grow journal. the problem im running into is that the outside humidity is changing pretty moderately every day or so and that bring the humidity either up really high when its raining or really low when its windy. (NO EXHAUST)

Im working on trying to scrounge up a few bucks for an air cooled hood. but when i thought about it, once i put that on there and eliminate the intake I would have to add CO2 and I've been hearing that it can mess with the plants if they feel to high of a spike in CO2.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem??

I'm a little hungover at the moment and ill revise my question later when I have the patience to word it better.

Do you have a humidifier? For a long time I've been fighting with humidity, becaue it was really dry in my grow box (below 15%). I've tried everything from wet paper towels, to small wide containers under the lights and even went as far as to get an air pump and connect it to a small bowl of water, hoping that the bubbles produced will kick the RH up... all of those ideas which are commonly used by others resulted in... fuck all... so after a month of fighting I just went and got myself a standerd home humidifier and things have taken off. Not as much as I would like to, because when the lights and fans are on, the RH is about 40% I CAN'T GET IT UP WITHOUT SWITCHING MY FAN OFF(which isn't bad, some growers claim that if humidity is not super low, than everything will be fine), but during the lights off it rises to 60% which is perfect.

i don't worrie about humidity why in veg ,I veg for about 3 -4 weeks tops .18-6

when your plants are in full flower & buds are getting big I start to keep a log of it . but you shouldn't really have high readings when lights on & temps are ok .

lights off is when you start to see high readings ,creeping up ,

I have a dehumidifier on timer set for lights out & everything is ok .

All you need is a dehumidifier in the room. A 70 pt dehu will cost you 250 bucks. You can set it to whatever humidity you want. Also if your venting the air through an air cooled hood youd be sucking co2 out as well, just sayin. See if you can get an intake coming in from a room in the house thats well ventilated. The humidity should be more stable in the house than outside.

My main concern is just getting it stabilized for the flower stage. I've dealt with bud rut, aaand powder mold... never again.

I've thought about drawing the air in from the other part of the shed that's not being used by plants buut. theres generally a lawn mower, gas cans, and possible uncontrollable mold in the places i can't get to. I cleaned the shed out completely before building in it and placing the tools back in as well as cleaning and covering any mold spots that were in it. im just worried about contaminating the air with excess vapor or possible mold spores. I would like to run the intake to the shed from the garage neighboring it but the people im staying with aren't as open to the idea.

any thoughts on this little dehumidifier? specs say it can run a 800-1000 square feet 0.o

Nope its too small. Itll fill up in an hour. You need a 50-70pt to do the job. Never cheap out on grow equipment. Get something with a warranty and make sure shes the right tool for the job.
