Chron> lol...I do thoroughly enjoy the process of building lights. But if someone puts it all together right..built in timers, adjustable/dimmable, etc..then I'd hang up my DIY coat. But at the rate their going it'll be awhile.

To the op..nice grow! Must be nice having a light with so many built in functions, I bet they'll come in handy

Yo Puff> at the end the LED panel was about 1-2 inches only from the LED, some of the leaves at the top did turn brown and crispy, but nothing too serious, probably 2 Gramms lost if anything.
We had to cut the top off earlier aswell as it would of grown way past the LED, our bad, we should of used a 2m tent. Didnt think this strain would of grown taller then the seed banks claimed.

Proved tho that this strain didn't mind being topped so late into flowering, good hard strain.

Chron> yeah the LED has loads of built in stuff, the intensity settings are cool aswell, but to be honest, we didn't really use them, it was on 24/0 so there was no need for the timer.
It would be interesting tho to see a grow with the intensity settings being reduced towards the end, like the sun getting weaker towards winter.
But this test was good enough for most growing Autos.
Was a pleasure to work with.

hi, man , i'm thinking on buy this led lamp, problably just to grow autos in a small tent, it's seems that 320w works great for that plant, but i saw on the pictures, when the plats was really big, the light it doesnt look that can cover all the plant, what it surprice me, the leaves looks really healthy. could it belive it.
i live every ones this link, i cod led i found on a chinnese web store, the vendor claims to give nice results, and the real output of watts on this lamp is stronger, if somebody know about a reliable test for this lamps, let me know please, im thingki by know in 3 options led lamp that i cant find in china , helios , this growsun, and the one i just link.
can somebosy give me a little bit , please.

Best to contact them direct mate, im no sales rep, just a tester & your right about not covering the whole plant, as you can see by the pictures that all the buds are leaning towards the centre, but, coverage is still excellent as I did grow two other smaller Autos in there with it.

It's not what I need, as I am now hooked up with BML, but if you want a cheap way to try white then, why not pop out the multichips, which are on molex rings, and replace with cobs?

oh I see what your saying mate,. I am excited about using white LEDs I must admit, plenty of options dude, that's a good idea about popping the chips out from the Eshine and replacing them with white ones. I've already thought about building my own pure white one by converting a old type LED i have, just for testing purposes.
I really want to see for my self the growth etc..., your grows are superb mate so will definitely have a go.

cheers bro, yeah man we had to top her, but not in the conventional way, we had to as she grew too high, so we took the top buds off.
She was in a 45L Airpot aswell bro.

Yeah man, im looking at it right now, Excellent Journal,

Im finding the cheaper end of the LED ranges are so far giving good comparisable results,

The upto 300W range nowadays is comparisable to a 400HPS in my opinion,

PAR readings from certain LED's also give higher readings then some 600 HPS, i.e.

This is one table of results from a UK based LED supplier, also now making Osram LED's with much higher output then these 'normal' LED's

Price wise all of the above are under the $1000 mark aswell

But the proof is still in the pudding plus I have got a sweet spot for Apache Tech, love the NASA research they do. Been following them for years, might even dig deep and buy one myself just to say 'Yeah man! I Own part of NASA Tech!' lol

looking forward to the day NASA & The CNSA plus all others land on mars with these types of LED's. Exciting stuff

lmao that is a big pot. right on. After my harvest's im shutting down for summer. then gonna run 4 super speed auto's and 4 red purps fem. so when the auto's finish the red's can start there flower.
