jack came down tonight need the space for the soon to be outgoing ladies in the veg space. was starting to rot and all the leaves completely yellowed. the pot size was a tad small for this large producer it stunned me for its size as it was almost given 2 weeks of veg before flip(this perpetual took some time to get the kinks out, firstly adding the second 600 was a great move now maxing my wattage load in the home at 1350 + fans ect. veg needs to go back into the tent I have the basement is getting to cold for just a pallet and tarps. summer works winter need some heat the mars hydro runs 24 7 to keep temps manageable however im in dire need of some RH . this is ok I will shorten the veg cycle and toss smaller plants into the flower room in possibly 5week cycles per 4 plants pics are tops hanging and larf for dabs or butter

I'm excited to grow out some Ethos stuff after seeing your grows here, well done
so far so good , some rumors over the years suggest they might have been pollen chucking abit and selling unstable lines
so far this entire pack of mandarin cookies has been steady , all 6 germed, I got this pack at a local hydro shop as a special, I have had consistent results with MSNL so I split my grow into 2 hoping to hedge my bets. so far I'm pretty happy no signs of nanners or balls anywhere yet (knock on wood) . after this run however im switching to someone else, I just can't seem to stay with one phenotype I just want to taste them all. I've gathered some good suggestions and might just do throw backs from the 90s for my January run

having trouble keeping the veg tent warm this perpetual might turn into stuff every thing into flower tent, run this run then in the dead of winter go back to long veg and flower in feb/March, although this opens the options up. I cant add any more electric then the 1350watts plus fans ect , I can't really do to much as this is not a permanent build. semi permanent set up means not investing in these creature comforts however its biting me in the ass...damn you winter ....next year back to the drawing board...

To be fair I don't really follow breeders or what their story is, I've just been seeing a lot of Ethos grows that looked amazing and I've wanted to try my luck with some.

Man we think the same, got a shipment of old school Mr Nice stuff coming my way which I'll get to after the Ethos. The new age high thc stuff is fun, but I miss the unmistakable stank of the old school Kush, Skunk & Cheese strains

night temps continue to get worse everything in veg was planning to continue to grow for another 8 weeks before heading to flower. this may seem impossible , the unfinished basement is just leaking all heat when the flower room shuts off and since my air is exhausted into the veg room to keep it warm things are getting murky. lowest today was 50 , flower room gets a deadicated heater but can only run in spurts so the rest of the house has electricity during the day. back to the drawing board, seems like the left side of my 4x6 might become a mini SOG, and after harvest do a total rebuild, let it be known unfinished old house basements are not ideal but this is the space I was allotted and I won't turn it down..happy growing

well the biggest and fullest gg4 has nanners. none of the others seem affected. this may be happening because my nights get down to 55. plucked them all and will keep an eye on them its only week 3 of flower so if need I can cull her. damn she was looking like a nice producer .

first time experiencing this ever not sure if I should cull a second look over and ive found about 15 on all the top bud sites. spent time insulating my area and am trying to keep as much heat in as possible.

well I couldn't kill it so I have moved the last lady in veg to flower early , so now I have 3 plants with long veg and 3 basically at 3 weeks veg , the gg4 now has the veg tent thats on a 12/12 timer , she might hate life under the ts1000 but oh well if the nanners explode into a further issue I will toss it and sadly start from scratch 20201119_221232.jpg20201119_220805.jpg
day 1 flower for this mandarin cookies

Man if it throws any pollen it's a complete nightmare starting from scratch is having to clean every single item in the room and disinfecting it, this the hardest part, i had similar problem x 8 plants all 4 weeks in looking superb but the megamouth strain burst its nanas and infected everything, 3oz of just seeds from megamouth alone, which are now germinating on some waste ground nearby my home, lol, if you have quarantined the gg4 into a tent, well that's a good move.

the largest the the bagseed of unknown origin which is why it would be cool if it crossed with the gg4 but again the rabbit hole of nanners. first time ever encountering them Nd mostly the advice is just get rid of it...shes got another 36hrs to see if they get worse and if i have to I will try to harvest some of the pollen for later experienememt since the original gg4 was created in just this manner!
