Just tore into this pack the other day. Started with the Wedding Cake x first up. If I encounter any males they will be kept for pollen collection, may experiment later on and try to become self sufficient with beans.

Seeds put in moist Jiffy pellets. I've tried a few other methods and this one works for me, 100% germination so far using pellets.

24hrs after planting:

Stay tuned or not, whatever, I'll keep this updated either way

These had a slow couple weeks in coco, I'm phasing it out of my grows, doing much better now I transplanted to my own organic mix, they've doubled in size and gotten greener

Got a male and a female so far. I think one of the plants got some permethrin for ants spilled on it, its wilting and not looking the best, very weak stems, limp.

Going to clone that beautiful girl for some time to come if the flower is any good.

The male can finish flowering outside, I've got a couple Katsu's Key Lime Kush clones that I would love pollinated, see how the offspring turns out - could be some fire beans.

Ended up with 4 females and 1 male. The male was impressive through all stages of his life, biggest smelliest seedling, grew balls before any of the girls even showed a hair, now he's starting to dump pollen everywhere outside, got him impregnating some Key Lime Kush from Katsu and (don't laugh at me) a 00 Seeds pheno of Dosidos Cookies which actually grew very nicely, had that "exotic" look that almost everyone is chasing these days.

Any tips for harvesting pollen from the male? It's the first one I've ever grown out.

Watch it really close when the balls drop. They open and spread pollen everywhere quickly. As soon as the first ball opens, harvest the plant. All of the rest of the balls willed be filled with pollen.

Thanks man, I think we may already be there, couple of the balls have dropped white powder on the leaves below them, should I cut and hang him now or wait a couple days for the balls to put on more size?

Are your females nearby? If they are then pull those things immediately. If not, you could wait for more to open, but you end up with more scattered pollen when you do.

Got some female clones about 2-3 weeks into flower in the same outdoor area as this male - intentionally, I want to try growing out their offspring for myself, not going to become an instagram pollen chucker overnight, but living in Australia it's becoming increasingly harder to get new seeds imported.

I'm doing everything I can to make sure I don't carry the pollen into the veg/flower tent inside the house.
