Etiquette Question

So, I just harvested my first plant, and I probably could not have learned and done everything I did without the help of my friend. Everything has been hanging for about a week now, and weighed out at 166g last night.

He was the one that put the idea of growing in my head, helped me learn a bit about how to get started, and helped me here and there along the way when I had questions.

I already told him that I would break off a chunk, but I'm not exactly sure what's acceptable. I was thinking about weighing out 1oz, assuming that its going to shrink down to 1/2-3/4ish...

Thoughts??

you have 166g wet? well i would wait til its done and see what you have before giving any away. and if it were me nd i got 2 or 3 ounces i would give him a 1/2 ounce or so. but thats just me

Im sure he will be happy with anything you give him....

I would say about 10% would be very generous and he would probably really appreciate it.

Just wait until it is totally dry and figure it out - 166g/28g= almost 6 oz so give him about 1/2 to 3/4 of an ounce.. make it 20 grams i guess

If I was him I would be stoked to get that for helping.

Right on! He got fucking electrocuted yesterday at work, so he's sitting at home on his ass today. He was hoping for a little help with the jitters, and I have some already dried from my last purchase that I was going to split up.

I figure we can delve into the new stuff once its dry.

Two things:No need to answer, just something to think about.
1) How good of a friend is he? Did he put the idea into your head and helped you out to grow so that he was not at risk in case you got busted? In this case just use your best judgement as to what he did and how good of a friend he is.

2) Me on the other hand pretty much split it 50/50 when I harvest. After curing I cut it down the middle and just hand it over, regardless of the amount.

I don't think any amount of weed will bring him back from the dead.

166 grams wet? Shoud be about 1 ½ ounces dry. So do like knowm says...

I would give him 1/2 an ounce also.
My friend gave me about a dozen old seeds. I got 7 sprouts. ( 1 male, 1 cat knocked off deck) 5 females.
He's been a good friend for about 33 years now but he doesn't help me grow them.
You're a good friend too for considering him in such a way.
