Feminized seeds are prone to becoming Hermies, and it's a fucking nuisance. When I started out I went all out to get expensive seed in feminized format, but I had more hermies than with regular seeds. And most certainly for cutting feminized seeds are not the way forward.

Also as stated in an earlier post, stress can make a plant vulnerable to shock and shock can make the plant panic, and when it does that it can sometimes make a desperate last plea to continue it's genetic circle by turning hermie in the hope that it can shed some seeds and continue its breed and family genetics. Little things from too much heat, not enough circulation, not enough water, too much water and lobbing off the tops.

Smoke that hermie, and you'll get an idea of taste. If it dont taste all hazey, and dank.

And even though the price we pay for seeds should guarantee they are good seed, but the sex we are partly responsible for, there are things we can do to encourage them to be female, and as someone stated on here eachj stage has an expert, but not many people are experts in the whole process, and so we are in a way all noobs.

thanks man...this was an important read for me and I like the way to your it....makes sense. biological systems are designed to...survive, and to do that they can be ingenious.....amazing stuff! :mrgreen:

maybe you just needed to transplant it earlier before flowering because that pot doesnt look that big for your plant????:-?

its 3 week into flower, i bring it inside every nite,and put in a closet, in my b.room, when i put it in, it was ok, after its sleep,and i got it , to put back under the lite, this morning, it was well flopped. i have never seen this before,the main colas, the the 3 biggest have all, flopped. and ive put back under the lite, hoping it would perk, up, but no, its just getting worse, maybe it was the cold last nite, the heating never came on and it was 0deg, last nite mayvbe cloder. the temp is normally 50deg, maybe it was less lower in the closet,due to the heating not been on?.
im just going to kill it, its my only plant in flower, and isnt worth the room and lite, .
im starting a freash, i have 3 lots of plants, all in vegg, next week my first lot will be ready to go to 12/12. and 3 weeks later some more, and then hopfully. i will have a harcest, if i can keep the con. belt going?.

no i grow in the garage in a closet, and i said i brung them in at nite, but i think it was too cold in the house, must be, ive never hurt a plant like that ever.

hey man...yea...I think ur right....that was too cold....i have seen reference to the 40s but down to zero....that could certainly do it...and the look of the leaves etc would suggest exactly something like that...too bad.....good luck with your new efforts! well if nuthin else, lesson learned eh.....

oh ywa man....I have been planning my next grow...so many freaking choices! I did outdoor grow (bagseed) 30 years ago...and now you look at this and that and everything....its a connesieurs world.....hahahaha sort like wine now....this is a good after dinner smoke, that is a good morning pick me up smoke....it reminds me of that movies How High where the guy has a shelf of all the different brands/strains.....I laughed so hard the first time I watched that!
