Maybe it had to do with one of the dispensaries going all over the papers offering free marijuana for food? Or the fact that is where Joe Cain is very active?

Dr. Bob
yeah Bob, if only they had followed your legal advice right doctor lawyer? Police hate feeding homeless people and weird old guys who run farmer's markets. you suck out loud Bob. nice of you, a medical marijuana doctor to rub salt in the wounds of places taht got meds to patients though, thanks for that. Dear Business Owner / Agent:

Please find enclosed a copy of the Michigan Supreme Court opinion in the case of People v McQueen which clarifies the law concerning the Michigan Medical marijuana Act. My office is in agreement with Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette in that this decision means that marijuana clinics/dispensaries cannot dispense marijuana. Moreover, the Act does not permit either the transfer or sale of marijuana from one registered qualifying patient to another registered qualifying patient. The Act does not legalize marijuana. Consequently, you are hereby notified to comply with the law and cease and desist immediately the dispensing of marijuana and/or allowing patients to transfer marijuana to each other on your premises. I have advised local police chiefs of this Michigan Supreme Court opinion and informed them that my office will enforce the law as clarified by this decision. I have further advised them that if they bring a case of a marijuana business operating in violation of the law or that of a patient on the premises who is in violation of the law, my office will prosecute the case. Sincerely, Jarard M. Jarzynka Prosecuting Attorney.

would it be of any help or harm to the cause to write this guy I wonder? His site states he holds meetings at local resturants to talk to the citizens of jackson http://www.co.jackson.mi.us/prosecutor/ do you think it would be good bad or indiferent to flood these places with our complaints or is this a "hands tied" brick wall? This is an elected position and if we know anything its that an elected official can A) lose his spot if not re-elected and B) can do WTF ever they want within a certain scope when it comes to making voters and high dollar campaign finance guys happy. thoughts?

Jarard came to my home. I was not impressed. His position to support us was transparent. I would suspect your emails, letters, calls, would do little but this is my opinion and I am not politically involved. My position and actions are "outside the box". Thus my presence here.

I'd be very interested to hear all he had to say and maybe I will have to go get a cup of joe with this guy and hear his bullshit straight from the bull's ass. I don't even know what to do here folks, I look for the root of all this closing of business and disruption of commerce and can't find a single actual citizen harmed or wronged or pissed off about the situation as it was. so what public outcry sparked this?

I sure love my daily spliff and the little RIU circle here-great to laff!:joint:

IMO the reason the dispensaries all closed was the fact that the supreme court decision was a setup to make transfers between ourselves illegal ....a pretext for this new legislation....can no one see it...?

a 'back door' entry into our rights--

...unless they can track them thru dispensary transactions .....and tax and control/regulate
--the dispensaries in A2 are some of the ones pushing the tax regulate and control thing over the top with big $$

they are promising the authorities control and $$ if they pass their bill--

the ones behind this are contacting all the dispensary owners telling them to get on the wagon with them and you will be allright to continue doing business as long as you support our effort to tax regulate and control--mostly lawyers leading the pack

harbor$ide from Cali and colorado dispensarie$ are working with some club$ in A2--to get the $upport in the legi$lation
and they have their duck$ in a row....with in$ide help-
im afraid this is the reality and wat is goin to happen-

it will be ok for dispensaries to sell pot and transfer it....not us-
---not the average joe unless you are working the CG-5pts (impossible to make a living at it)scenario--

that I don't agree with-

and farmers markets...?....ha! forget about that model and say goodbye unless there is mass opposition to them shutting these down-jm2c

I don't fear a big corp if there is room for a private home use grower. again, like beer. There are big potato corps and we still have farm markets, it might not be so bad. I don't play stupid and I know how the game is rigged buck but I'm one of the weird guys who wants it all to eventually be like anything else, some for home use produced at home still cool, tax and regulate (within reason and will always need watchdogs) for distritubtion. even a head of lettuce gets taxed and has regulations on how to grow and clean and distribute it. I brew beer at home, I grow vegetables in my garden I've bred dogs all for myself and OK to do but I could have skipped it and went to a corp or store and just bought it from someone who has to prove it is safe for me, or at least marked with how its not safe for me. I know it isn't perfect and the system is rigged but fuck man if I can get that then I can grow my own and smoke it too and it's my best end game.
