Im in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. its just me and my girl and were setting up the spare bedroom closet for the grow op.6x6x10 Its a simple dual 600 watts ballast, 1200 watts total. The light will be cool tubed threw a 6 inch vortex inline fan with a sealed room and a c02 tank/regulator. Also im running a portable 8000 btu air conditioner. reason is because the room eing seald with the 2 600s, the room still gets around 88*. Even with co2 i like a constant 68 to 76 depending on strain. purps tend to come out in constant cool weather so I like the use of the ac. Only problem is this is the biggest ive grown, and since im in a new house ill have the spair room closet and i want to no what i need to do to run all the watts.

1200 watts for the lights
125 watts for the inline fan
ac uses 800 watts
and the lights for the bedroom and batrhrom ext.

helo,im no expert but i have friends who are,and im sure there NOT electricians, the outlets in one room are more than likely to all run off of same circuit breaker.,you might have luck in runing extension cords from other outlets in the house that would not overload one circuit. it s not pretty but effective for sure.

or by process of elimination at the circbreaker box,you wil be able to tel which cb shuts your gro room on/off u could easily change creaker for that room to a little higher amperage.if your not familiar with wat im saying dont fuk wit it.im sorry isaid something.lol.be careful

That kind of depends on the amperage of the circuit you will be plugging into.

I any case you need to identify the circuit you will be using and see what the amperage is. You might be able to do this grow without running an additional line.

Go to your breaker box and turn off all of your circuits while keeping your "main" on. Then turn on one breaker (circuit) and go inside and see EXACTLY what is running off that circuit. Check all your plugs, overhead lights and appliances.
You do that with each breaher until you know EXACTLY what is running off each circuit. This will let you know if you can run extension cords from other circuits or if you need to install a 20-30 amp "homerun" or dedicated line. I myself am running a 1000w hid, a small fan and a 4" inline fan. I almost had it worked out by switching appliances, heater A/C and the like around and using extension cords but in the long run I had to instal a homerun. Installing one is not that difficult. You should be able to find enough info on these boards or on the net that will show you how to run one. Remember, Romex 12/2 for a 20 amp circuit and Romex 10/2 for a 30 amp circuit ! Be safe and good luck.

freeleaf has the right answer.dont forget your furnace or outside lights when checking what is on a circuit.also remember that the outlet on that circuit that is empty now may be where the wife plugs in the vacum.
most houses dont use 1 breaker per room, but run the lines up a common wall so the outlets on your living rooms east wall will be wired w/ the east wall in the bedroom above.the inside wall will have outlets on both sides of the wall shared.
chances are good the room will have 2 breakers to power it,just depends what else is on it.
btw 1500 watts per 15 amp breaker & 1900 watts for a 20 amp breaker is the max you want to use

Also watch out for devices that have electric motors. They use an additional power surge when they are started. I learned this the hard way when my deep freezer kicked on! garage door openers also have an additional power surge as do vacum cleaners!
