They popped last night! quicker than the previous ones.
But as you can see in the pic, something quite strange to me. The roots have come upward and gone back down again making a kind of loop. Is this normal?
I was wondering if I should risk pulling them out and re-seating them but I fear damaging them as they've now been popped for over a day and roots will no doubt be holding firm.
I think I should leave them be and see what happens... What do you all think?

dont touch it mate... they'll be under soil when you repot... so dont panic mate .... its quite common and its sorted itself out, so theres no need to risk plucking it as it will almost 100% break if you do

how much watt cfl are you using?
6 bulbs at 14w and 20w.
I've just worked out that they're all red :( I've been trying to find some blue ones but no where seems to stock blue bulbs at these smaller sizes without a cost.

I'm contemplating buying one larger CFL for the veg box. But of course I have to get the red one first so it may take a few weeks...

Thanks bro, I figured pretty much the same thing.

hehe went to Homebase and bought the ONLY two blue bulbs they had in stock!

I feel like a right twat though and a proper noob (which I am anyway so that does make it okay). ALL of the bulbs I was using before to veg with, were RED! LOOOOOL
Putting two new blue ones in there makes a whole shit load of difference to the brightness in there - no wonder my current ladies were so damn slow in there!

Anyway, I bought two 23w BLUE CFL's and installed them - I'll throw a pic up in a bit to show the difference.

Also potted my two seedlings and they look like they love it! I also reckon the clones are going to love the new bulbs too :)
May have to wait a week or two before I can get some more, but gosh darn it I need some!

Yeah mate thanks a lot for the info - £6.99 each and the only two they had left in stock!
AND the only blue bulbs they had, period :-S that's just odd. Every other bulb they had, of the shelves and shelves of them, were all red! I may go over to the other Homebase later to see if I can grab one or two more...

Anyways, this pic shows the distinct difference between the red and blue;

I just can't believe that this whole time I thought I had at least one or two blue ones in there...
The next grow should be a shit load better! :lol:

Also now seeing a proper canopy with the main crop, with lots of healthy looking buds poking through. Looking sweet too! LST is still a must for keeping the canopy flat.
I know it's not update day till Monday, but I may post a sneaky peak later ;)

Well... considering they were vegged with red lights, I reckon they've done alright too! Everyday now I see more and more pistels. I seriously can't wait to see them swell up! I do have to agree with you trout, the colour is pretty.
But seriously man, your buds look tasty and very smokable :)

yeah smokable indeed :-) ... shame it looks like mine have been involved in a forest fire though ....lol

although i have seen worse looking GOM's ... done under HPS ... and they did rather well

Sneaky pre-update shot;

I was out early yesterday so I neglected to water my ladies until late this morning...
Everything was fine except for the haze seedlings... :( One of them may not make it...
You can't really see it in the pic, but the base of it has dried so much that it almost shrunk to nothing... I made the mistake of taking them out of the propagator too. Couldn't help it though as the propagator now doesn't fit in there with the four pots.
Glad it's only the haze bag seed that's damaged as I'm not to bothered about them really.

Was given a little bit of Plant Magic Boost yesterday, so I went about flooding my veg chamber with the stuff :)

It's supposed to be a once fortnightly soil fertiliser and micro organism feed which explodes the top growth during veg. At £30 a bottle I'm super grateful for this little donation! Hope to see my noobs explode in the next week for it ;)

Update tomorrow night! :hump:
