Experimenting with roots

Hello Dia here...I been wanting to do this for awhile now ...so lets get to it
This is summer outdoor I had in pots. While they were still fresh stumps I pulled the roots, rinsed them in this dish tub, let them soak in water for a bit, rinsed them again and set them in the sun to dry. They become very dried and brittle after a few days of sitting.

I recommend pulling the large pieces out before you mulch them in your blender or processer. These are so brittle as I cut these roots into smaller pieces I ended up breaking it up with my hands.
I started by putting a small bit into blender and ended up chucking it all in...20171209_104407.jpg 20171209_105014.jpg
I put it out onto a paper plate and pulled the fluffy out and big pieces and blended it more trying for a powder substance. So this is what I got using a blender..hopefully if you try this you have a better processer...20171209_105457.jpg
One more time i mulched and final product...

This powder on the lid is what I was going for..I might scrape that and get a capsule out of it...but was able to work with the small granules.
These roots are as tough as stems are it seems. Make sure you break it up in small pieces before you fry your blender or whatever you are using.
Id recommend storing your powder/granules in the fridge or freezer in a vacuum sealed bag to keep them fresh and dry mostly.

I have been useing ground cannabis root for a bit now in capsules, 2 of those a few times a day, i have found to break them down when green to smaller grindable pieces makes life easier, i havent worried about getting powder as its harder to pack, grinding with a coffee grinder and packing capsules. root powder helps with a old arthritic injury for me. I Also use bubble hash capsules.
