Hi, i have had an osilating fan on her most the way through, i think the strain must be a leggy'ish one like Mr Fishy said as i have had cfl's 1 inch away from the top at all times, and only raised the hood when the bulbs were gonna burn the top of the plant, it grows just over 2 inch a day, is that normal? 2 more feet and shes gonna be bigger than me :s How many weeks roughly do you flower?

I flower at a month, maybe 6 weeks veg.
My strain takes 50 days from pistil to hang.
Im gonna do the same with my 2 week old seedlings as i have vegged this 1 way too long.I went to get some tomato feed but sold out so i got this, as everything else was MG, NPK 10.6-1.9-1.4 i really dont know why i bought it as its npk is crap! anyone used this?

IF you over-use anything it will kill your plant. usually the reason the plants fail is because of the high -P-K in your fert. a good mix for veg would be like a 7-5-5. using a high phosphorous and potasium fert
like 15-25-15 will cause the plant to get leggy. same with budding, you want to use more like a 1-5-5 or a 3-10-10, because nitrogen will make the buds loose etc... the thing is if you use too much of anything you will have disappointing results. You need more light dude. and some c02
prayer candles or a fermentation vessle are a good cheap way. cut back on the water and the fert. only add more when the plant tells you to.
MG all purpose is a good fertilizer, it's like a 15-10-10 blend, it contains alot of good shit that alot of others don't like molybidenum, calcium, magnesium, and potash. just use it in moderation. a 400 watt HPS would really do you good. it will pay for itself it the first plant.

good luck

?? The VAST majority of the hydro nutes are non organic. Lots of hydro grown stuff at the market.

Fox Farm isn't organic. (except one of the nutes)
who's talking about hydro nutes? guys obviously using soil grow, organic is the way to go, better taste, better smoke, in mho.
