extractor fan Advice a good quite one :)

For fans that don't hum/buzz you need a electronic computated fan and controller.
For regular ac fans you need a variac for buzz less speed control.

That was my problem , I had the 4" vivo too and returned it for the 6". Much better , plus with that foam i put on , its pretty quiet now.
 
No i never tried a rhino controller on the other fan i just took that back to store and replaced it for my rhino ec fan paying an extra 170
 
Thats it i was more then happy i done that soon as i had plugged the rhino in and heard the sound differnce with more power 600mh on in my 8x4 my first grow in nearly 3 year

For keeping the environment right its an essential piece of kit to me.
I've botched some taps from it, the taps run the idle speed and the variable control cools the room, I've got it wired through a digital relay so its all automatically kept in check day and night.
