Eye Hortilux "Super Blue metal halide"

I was talking with my local hydro guy and was asking about dual arc lights. He stated that several people have been using this Super Blue from veg to bloom and were getting better results (bigger, denser buds) than if they had switched to hps for bloom. Has anyone here used the super blue from start to finish?

That makes no sense as the HPS is more expensive.
the bulb he is talking about is BOTh MH and hps, therefore more expensive than just hps. I love these bulbs, especially for tall lanky hazes. I'm actually doing a side by side right now on on plant. I have a Huge Maui(6ft)that is I between lamps. Half lit by a 1000w super hps and the other side the 1000w super blue dual arc mh/hps. Labeled colas just in case i spin it. I am going to see real world results hopefully on the same plant so that ALL other variables will be equal.

I've been running hortilux for years, with good results. I hunt for a good deal, got my last for $95 and I dont mind spending a little more because I run my bulbs for a couple years before i replace them. I have never gotten into replacing bulbs every harvest, though I am due for a change at this point. I run http://www.eyehortilux.com/products/High-Pressure-Sodium#shps the super HPS, which is supposed to have more blue in it. Personally I have flowered under MH and had awesome dense buds and want to just add a second light to my grow. I've got a 1k Super HPS and I'd love to add a 1k MH to get the best of both worlds. I would have to think the dual arc is prolly an awesome bulb I just didn't go that route I think because of price.

Yeah, that is their standard upper single arc hps. The bulb WE are talking about has triple the blue of the super hps and sells for 160-220 depending.

So in essence if you want blue, this bulb is cheaper than a second setup. If you are getting a second light already, you could do normal bulbs and save some loot.
