ez clone machines PH help

I'm using the EZ clone machines and the PH jumps all over the place when I have the meter in the water. I think this is from the clonex solution, does anyone one else have this PH problem?

cant give any advice but i just ordered the cloning gel and i figured it was already ph'd enough to help the clone root, not hurt it? i dont have the clone machine but im just goin to put them in rockwool and keep em saturated with good clean distilled water until roots show.

That sounds like it's your meter. A meter reading will jump around when it's not working right, or not grounded, or the batteries are low. I don't think that the Clonex on the stems will affect the pH of the res.
