Very good point and I did address that, I ended up using abrasion tape threw the openings, I hope to update the pics and build this weekend. Thanks for the kinda words, reading threw so many led post over the past while, nothing but respect for your knowledge and advice.
This says constant current but that’s just confusing me, anyways this will do 12 strips at .55 amps max and 2 would do 1.1 amps each max. So 300 watts total or 600 basically on one or 2 drivers. My 4 drivers were cheaper then this one so I lucked out otherwise I was going to do 2 of these.
so I can hook up 12 strips to one of these drivers and have a 320 watt light ?
Well assuming the driver is running 100%, my 150 watt is doing 143, 3 of these drivers are cheaper and could run 4 strips at .5 amps for a total of 100 watts per 4 strips. $17 each..
This would be running the strips around 50% of nom so they require little or no cooling and efficient.

So next question is how do I wire it ? Could you draw a diagram that shows how I would do it ? I’ve wired 4 quantum boards 132s to a lrs-350 drivers before but that’s it
I’m new to led, I understand the mechanics but when it comes to spectrum, efficiency, tech info, dimming and all that Jazz, I rely on these led guys for my info. Only downfall I see with the plan is the drivers won’t be able to push the strips full power if you ever wanted that.
All 12 positives from the strips to the single positive wire on the driver and the same for the negative. It’s like hooking up one light, 12 times, to the same connection. I ran a wire then just tapped into the wire so it wasn’t all at one connection point looking like a eye sore. I can draw it out or grab a pic tomorrow if you need.

I am by no means an expert, I am still learning too. ive got a few different builds under my belt but I will credit the real LED Boss around here as @Rocket Soul who has directly and indirectly taught me so much over the last year or so.. ive also got too much time on my hands lately and an inquiring mind that likes to study datasheets lol. glad to be of assistance in some way tho!
Well I been pretty anti led over the years, like most hid users I’m hard to convince to make a change. Im behind now because I ignored the tech so long but I can totally get why guys like led for more then just light and spectrum. If I can find some better spectrum strips there’s a good chance I will make a switch to all led, it would have to be a beast of a light though.

My only advice here is to make sure the side leaves dont get into direct contact with the diodes, id suggest either covering them or making a screen.
