fan question and filter questions

Hi everyone

so I was gifted a 6x8 charcoal filter. Its huge lol. My grow s dimension are 2x8x8. Im using co2 this is a closed grow. Im wondering if this filter is overkill and won't work or if I can you use it.also I'm wondering how many cfms do I need to be pulling through the filter for my grow area.

It's too big for your room but I would put a 8" fan on it if it were me but you could easily use a 6" and you will be golden
