maariic Active Member Jan 1, 2012 #2 You have to read it's specification. Then you will know how many volts and amps you need. If it needs your wall outlet volts then connect cable with plug and go on!

Click to expand... Not to mention hurting your ears with its incessant humming. I use a five step variac myself with good results.
