Far too tall

Hi guys,

its my first time growing Sativas and I have hugely underestimated how tall they can get!

Im five weeks into flower, buds are starting to come along nicely BUT I am at the top of my tent! They will not stop growing tall and I have about 5 weeks left to go!

So my question is, can I tye the top of the plant down at this point or will this just screw em right up? PLEASE HELP im getting worried now! :leaf:

Any example threads of someone who has had to do this would also be VERY useful.

Thanks in advance!

They usually stop stretching after 40% of their flowering time has passed. You should be about to the end of the stretch phase. You can tie em, bend em, whatever you gotta do to make them fit, hell I've seen people lay their plant horizontal. Look up LST, low stress training, you can actually squeeze the stem and bend it over at a 90 angle. I'm trying this on my next batch thats vegging now.

lol, that they do. I got 2 that are over 7 ft. Had to bend them over on top to maximize light penetration to the chola.
