Fast Sativas

Does anyone know where Fast Sativas come from? Seeing as how pure and original Sativa varieties Arent exactly what I consider fast, I would imagine its the afghan in the genetics? Mostly every strain on the market is a hybrid weather we like it or not. So my theory is our "fast sativas" are just sativa/indica hybrids that look more sativa with the skinnier leaves, the stretchiness, or monstrous size. Can anybody offer their 2 cents on the topic? Below is my "Fast Sativa" cutting. Finishes in 55 odd days, smells like a dead skunk or road kill I guess, and has these dark green maybe purpleish calyxs.. Ive never been able to lower temps but I think she might just change colors on me.
Any who, Feel free to post pics of your faster Sativas or fast strains in general. All comments are welcome IMG_0229.jpgIMG_0232.jpg

My guess, Lots of weird breeding to have more sativa traits but fast flowering from indicas.

the most noticble thing and what we use most often when defining sativas and indicas is the high they give.

indicas produce less thc and more cbd, they tend to leave your head relatively clear whilst producing a very relaxing body stone.

sativas on the other hand do the opposite, they will infact give you energy in some cases and give that feeling of euphoria instead of bringing you down.

super lemon haze is my favourite fast sativa out there at the minute, there are many strains i wish to try though.

lemon skunk is a fast sativa, it grows like an indica staying short and not stretching very much. it creates big fat resin covered buds and is a light heady high. i say it is a fast sativa but it is more like a 50/50 hybrid.

grown in 6.5l pots with 7 day veg time and 60 days flowering.

this is the first plant i grew, in an 18l pot this strain made it easy for me as a noob to get good yields of good quality weed.

both pics the same strain but grown different ways. it was a clone only that was knocking about down my way, sorry didn't know the breeder.

that top pic is with 7 day veg, the plant was perfect for being grown this way, you could fit 20 under one 600w light.

i'm just starting some new seeds, tga jack the ripper, tga spacebomb, barneys g-13 haze, blue dream and super lemon haze, all pretty fast sativas, so should make for some nice contrasts

african sativas are the fastest imo
then south american
then asian
some of the asian varieties look and behave more like a perrennial to me

there are a TON of 10 week hazes out there that are racy and uplifting - hazes are commonly called sativas

when cracking sativa beans, that's really the difference in phenos - length of flower and internodal spacing
i know a fella cracked 10 satori beans - grade a sativa - and they flower from 60 days fastest to 108 slowest - taste similar high similar
golden tiger - same - 65 days to 115 days everything else pretty similar

anything flowering under 8 weeks is a freak
a sativa flowering under 8 weeks is like a 100 pound pit bull - call it what you will it's still a mutt

all that said, angel heart from mr nice is damn near perfect and it has some very nice 8-9 week plants in an 18ish pack
g13/haze by mr nice is a staple in my garden - i usually don't even get to smoke any - and it's 8-10 weeks AND an IBL for all you outdoor boys

wonder haze, if you can find a cut is about perfect, but don't buy any beans as they're bs if you find them

subcool does not breed sativas.
period.
