Faulty PH meter now I am in trouble,Please help

Hey,
My two plants are suffering from a nutrient lockout-Not getting the nitrogen and all the leaves have turned yellow except for the very top of the plant. I had a faulty PH meter that did not produce the right readings every time. I have many plants and water all at the same time so i dismissed the PH early bc none of the other plants were bad and I check it every watering-My light was on the side of the plant too close so i again dismissed PH bc i thought it was the light. Apparently my PH tester was right like 3 out of 5 times. Sometimes i get accurate readings.sometimes i get ones that are 73 points off. I just received a more expensive PH tester so now i can be sure.
My question is despite the fact that the leaves are yellow, can the plant still rebound after giving multiple proper PH waterings. The one plant is in late stage flowering and the other plant is early mid flower. If the leaves are yellow does that mean the buds are dead too or can the buds rebound?
Thanks

Your plant will most likely recover and she should be fine. The damaged leaves won’t heal, but since you have corrected the issue you should see yellowing/lockout stop progressing.give her a good flushing with properly ph’d water from your new meter. You may have shocked the plant some, which could delay harvest time, decrease yield, etc, but she is most likely still capable of growing some good bud with a little extra patience and care.

thanks, definitely shocked the plant, the one plant already looks like ill get Hp to Lb yield,it was right at the time where the buds get that extra boost so im really disappointed. Hopefully I can get it to bounce back. I appreciate your advice.

I have 2 cheap ones and i purchased a brand new 50 dollar one that just came. 1 of the cheap ones worked some of the time but was faulty a lot, I calibrated the new one and i got a reading that matched the broken one that only works some of the time, to get the same reading on two separate meters told me that theres a good chance i had the right reading with the brand new one i bought.
I have flushed for 3 hours straight pretty much just flushing with water at 6.5&every time i dump the excess water the readings are like 8.0 or 7.9, it doesnt lower no matter how many times i flush. The roots that are at the top are probably getting the right PH level but the roots at the bottom have to be getting readjusted any time it mixes with nutrients from past feedings bc like i said it comes out at like 8.0

With coco I mixed every day or two, same size batch. Was like 5-8 ml.Same every time.Just used the drops to test ph once a week kinda thing.

well i was under the impression that if the runoff ph was so high that everytime you mix in ph at 6.5 and hits the bottom of the fabric pot it gets diluted, why else would the runoff ph be so high? I was under the impression that i watered my plant with PH that was really high when i was under the impression it was normal. I had these two shitty 10 dollar testers, they both gave different readings soo i bought a new one, the new one is tested&calibrated, its a 50.00 meter&doesnt matter the temperature. The new ones readings were similar to one of the ones i thought was broken, gives something different all the time though. I know the new one works properly though. Clay pebbles? No,idk anything about clay pebbles,Ive only been growing a year.

So mix up some food say 1ec at 5.5-5.8 ph and feed your girls. They wont be happy with you after your flush.

I am a new grower so bare with me here, the runoff is at 8.0 when i put water at a 6.2 level. The runoff water is brown i assume from a buildup of the nutrients, you can tell the nutrients are in the runoff water, i was worried about overfeeding with nutrients to a plant that already has an overloaad of nutrients potentially. since i can tell theres a lot of nutrients in the runoff water,i was worried about giving more. What are clay pebbles?

Some manufactures add clay pebbles to coco for aeration, can raise the ph of runoff.Brown is the coco wash, normal.
Feed your girls daily to runoff, check EC of runoff should be close to input feed.Use 5.8 as ph, dont fret about runoff ph.
Good luck And keep reading about coco.

what is EC? Is that another meter,i thought i seen that for sale ewhen i bought my ph meter..
Update-MY one plants was just given its last rights but it was already dead. The buds were beginning to dry out. My other plant thats in mid flower looks still alive all the yellow leaves seem happu tjaeu are all perked up,this one was less along-the top top of the plant is still green so i may be able to save the buds but i will know in the next days if i see the hairs turning before they were supposed to be done. Big bummer tho on the other plant.

Yes,ppm ec .How are you measuring your food strength ?

I never heard of an EC meter until just seeing this reply an

Ihave never heard about an EC meter until reading this. I have a feed schedule that goes by ML and i use a syringe to put accurate nutrients in the water. Im reading some about the EC meter now and what it does..I have read a good amount of information about growing but honestly have never came across that.
