I'm not a Christian. In spite of that, there are many good ideas in the Bible- along with plenty that aren't.
I think you should think harder about the philosophies you read.

You want to debate christian principles then come w/ something that says you've read the book.
Philosophies are like assholes, everyone has one, it's just some smell nicer than others depending on what they eat.
