Feeding Schedule for Coco/Miracle Grow Mix

I am a first time grower and all of this has been a huge learning experience for me. I am now to the flower stage and my plants have been growing in miracle grow potting mix. They are indoor and I monitor the PH and RH very closely. I have added Coco Coir to the top of the soil mix so they are miracle grow with about two inches of Coco Coir on top. Do I still need to feed the coco and if so how often do I feed them and what are the best products to use?
Thank you so much!!
I need all the help I can get!

They are very different media types with unique requirements so mixing them and using a slow release fertilizer is probably not a good idea. You should run either soil or Coco. If you don't feed the Coco and keep it constantly moist it's going to just be a mulch layer basically. I find trying to keep things simple makes growing a lot easier and more fun. I have heard of people mixing Coco and organic nutrients but I've very rarely seen it done well. Best of luck with your grow and it's a learning experience if nothing else.
