Is this normal? My clone from a female has grown into an all male (not hermaphrodite) plant . How is this possible? And yes I'm kind of new to growing.

Not sure what else it could be... Maybe the clone got exposed to too much light in a dark period.[/QUOT
Hmmm... Could be. I keep it outside on my patio and i try to move it around to give it the most light exposure but i have to work and can't always be home to work on the plants. You may be right. Thanks.

So no female flowers period? Not even beginning of flower? I had the same issue before. I had a clone in my flower box next to the intake suck pollen from my males like 20ft away outdoor! Strange thing is it only made it to one plant and pollinated the entire fucking thing mid way through flower. But if you are saying she had pistills in veg and grew 100% balls in flower with no female flowers whatsoever then thats another story and probably has to do with unstable hormones and genetics.

After taking the cutting how did you root/veg the clone? the only thing I can think of is the plant got overly stressed and hermied on an extreme level.

It's a clone of a clone. Probably should have mentioned that.

I used a pete moss pellet, clonex, etc.... all my other clones (done the same way) turned out fine.

Ah, in that case it has probably been cloned more then two times... Just stay away from the same clones. You could make you some beans while your at it and grow from seeds and hunt for females you like.

One question...............do you absolutely know for definite that the plant the cut was taken from was female? As this has happened a few times on here over the years, people buy or get given clones, are told they are female when in fact they are actually male because the person taking the cuts either didnt bother or made a mistake sexing the plant

Thats what I was getting at. My buddy had that happen the him. Thats why I was curious if this was his first time with this plant and how he got the clone.

Great minds think a like!:bigjoint:

Was this your first time with this plant? Where did you get the clone?
Yeah. It's the first time. Got the seed from a friend who said it was candy kush. I let it grow and and took some clippings during the first and second week of flower. The mother was all female and all the clones were as well. Then I took clones from those clones as they got bigger. All those except this one were female. supper bummed. it was the biggest/healthiest one. Thanks for the interest.

Grew the mother from seed, but it is a third generation clone. Probably a bad idea.

it must be a ladyboy, not fully male.i dont think a fully female plant can turn fully male, regardless of how many times its cloned.

Whats it being cloned twice got to do with anything? Clone it 100 times if you want, still shouldnt turn male from female regardless
That's what I thought. It should be a "clone" an exact genetic copy. What's the deal? Pretty sure i'm not crazy.
