FEMALE or MALE plant?

Any knowledge anyone can give me on telling a male from female plant at an early stage? This picture is from my plant that is 2 weeks old. I read somewhere that if you see nodes or a piece coming out underneath new leaf sets near the stem that it's a sign of female.

*Im using the Fecida cr600 (65w). I had it 24" from the plant, which was too far. I just changed it to 13" from the plant since it stretched.

I can't tell this early. If you have her under 12-12 lights already, you probably can tell in a couple of weeks.

right now I have it under 18 hours of light a day. I thought I shouldn't do 12:12 until its forming pistils? Do you do 12:12 from the start with your plants?

You are far from determining sex. You should be asking why your plant is so small after 2 weeks.
I overwatered it at a week old and the leaf tip curled a little and went brown. The leaves lost some of their deep green coloring too. I changed it to a terra cotta pot, got it on a heated mat to help it dry out and I put dry dirt at the bottom of the pot so the roots would sit on a dry area. The plant bounced back and is looking better. It's 4" tall right now. Maybe I stunted it? I haven't added any nutrients yet. Any recommendations?

Ask in about 6 weeks on the sex.
Either your light isn't strong enough or it's too far away.........major stretching.

Ok good to know. I have a 65 watt light right now. How close should I put it? Is the plant going to be fine even though it's stretched? I'm getting a better light in a few weeks.

What kind of 65w light?
Just bury most of the stem when you get to the point of transplanting.

I have a fecida full spectrum LED light (cr600). It's 65w at 100%, which is what I've been keeping it at. What distance should I have the light from the top of the plant?

I'm not familiar with that light, so I can't tell you the distance.......but you definitely need to lower it.
