Can anybody tell me if these are female pre-flowers on a 4 week plant?

Look right in the middle of the picture

Same thing for this pic, look right in the middle. Very clear and hairy "V" shaped pistils and some sprouting out the other end as well..:weed: Those are pistils.... right? btw, they were coming out of the fourth node if that matters any.

Is she a she?????

Keep in mind these plants were also transplanted from 4" pots into these "rose pots" two days before this pic was taken

seeing a little pistil on the left of that node but the stuff on the right side there looks like it could be herming, or it could be pistil growth. considering the other one has a clear calyx its probably a female. you really won't know until you can clearly tell on the other ones.
Those are 4 wks old? way to keep em from stretching at all...

:blsmoke:
I dont know what those others guys are talking about. I clearly see female preflowers.

lol maybe you should do a little research we aren't discussing anything too complicated.

looking at the pic again the growth on the right side has a pistil emerging from a calyx shape.

I think that is not possible. my plants showed the sex about two months veg

The time it takes to show pre-flowering in vegetative stage is really dependent on strain genetics and atmospherical conditions all together. It is possible. They are 32 days old in that pic. :hump:

I hope it isnt a hermy~~~ *crosses fingers*
(Highly doubts those are balls growing out of that calyx. I have faith in my girl.)

Anymore input you all??? I appreciate your replies!

I am going to switch from 20/4 to 12/12 anyday now.

Check out my sig down there!

I said "looking at it again you can see a pistil emerging from a calyx" the first time I looked at it it looked more hermy but its def female. best of luck.

Hells yeah! Yeah, just really excited about all these and may have speed read your reponse. Now, its a matter of preventing her from becoming a hermy by keeping the climate consistent and the 12/12 FIRM!

I do too. I say female!

breakneck, thanks for looking!

:hump:

Thank for the support and subscribe to this grow's journal (links in my sig) if you haven't already, dbo24242 and breakneck! lata :bigjoint:

i have some white widow that gets female preflowers in 21 days

Is your White Widow Seedsman Seeds White Widow by chance? I have had Seedsman Seeds White Widow develop female pre-flowers roughly around 4 weeks into veg if not sooner.

By comparison Greenhouse Seeds The Church did not show the first female pre-flowers until a full two weeks into flower and they were grown at the same time under the exact same conditions.

It really can depend on if the breeder’s strain/version is a knockoff like Seedsman’s White Widow or if it is the Real McCoy because they will be genetically different and also different phenotypes and growing conditions and care.
