Feminized vs Non for a beginner?

Is there a specific strain of sativa or indica to start out with that will be easy for a beginner to learn from? Looking for a nice half and half of sativa/indica buzz and am curious about feminized seeds vs non.. Is there any genetic issues with them, things that can go wrong a newbie wouldn't know how to deal with?

Grow room is just about built .. going with a decent size CFL setup.. now to just pick which is best for me to start out with that will deliver the potency and high desired with hoepfully a fairly decent first time yeild. Looking to do up to 10 plants to start.

Thank you all in advance, i've been reading these forums for quite some time and frankly just cannot make up my own mind based on other threads so im just gonna put it out there and see what strains get suggested based on this thread.

I hate to bump my very first post but am very confused on which I should try and am just looking for the do's and do not's with the pre-femenized seeds.

Regards.

check out my lowryder journal.

if your grow space is small and you want 10+ plants, best to go with this strain.

Fem seeds are a bit more prone to turn into hermies. So I'd go for reg seeds to start with.

Males are good. You are growing weed so you don't have to buy it, right? I want the occasional male so I don't have to buy seeds.

Thanks for the replies.. The area is approximately 10x15, but I am not looking to fill it yet, that is just the amount of total space available. I've adopted a CFL method from various setups I've seen on here and one including Humboldt's.

I would check out some Big bud, maybe AOTA, Depends how experienced you are and how much time you have but Master or bubba kush are both nice short thick bushes that grow very rock hard little nugs longer flowering time however. (I have an obsession with kush i might add)

Not experienced at all but would say i'm fairly technically inclined and can follow some of the grows here very closely. The only issue im having now is light cycles to start everything at from seeding to veg to flowering and the type of seeds.

Is it over all a generally more wise decision to use non femenized seeds and get 1 or 2 females (or more hopefully) out of a 10 seed purchase and clone from there? Rather than hope to get all 10 feminized seeds as females.

dude go feminized. wen i first started i went random and wen u grow a male in ur area.IT IS HARD AS FUK TO CLEAN. if ur a beginner an just wanna grow some good weed GO FEMINIZED. thats the only way i go.
my first choice.
Seedsman Feminised Cannabis seeds
check out my grow journal for pics of them.
happy growings
