Hey guys, noticed a few leaves have this redish purple color starting to appear...not real concerned about it just curious is to what is causing this...if its bad...doesn't seem to be going crazy its only a few leaves. All the buds look pretty stanky I am just entering 7th week of flower.

I used GG threw my entire grow
Straight RO water pH 6.4 and I was adding a lil cal-mag to just about every 4th\5th watering (water every other day)
Temps when lights are off run around 63-65 with humidty around 45%
Temps with lights on run around 75-79 with humidty around 40%
Using Fox Farm "Ko-Ko-Bop" soil
Have 2 SF2000's
Think that covers everything...also the lower right is getting chopped tonight different strain (auto)

That purpling is most likely slight P deficiency. You could up the P a little, but it's not a big deal. They look good.

It's a solid fact that it's molybdenum. You always see this with yellow right behind it. Which is a visual indicator that excess Nitrate is in the bud. The plant is trying to get rid of it, and needs Mb to do so. The plant is trying to produce aminos that create chlorophyll, flavor, aroma, effect and prevent herms. The plant knows what its doing, the grower doesn't listen. Cannabis has been cursing out its growers for decades now. Yall must love it. Most growers are sick like that. Sickos. They probably have starving diseased dogs died up behind their houses.

This is a visual indicator of low quality, as Nitrate should not be present in buds. Nitrate in the bud is also what attracts various pests including spider mites. This is what excess N actually looks like. The dark green color that people associate with excess nitrogen doesn't make sense as chlorophyll comes from an amino synthesized from ammonia, not directly from nitrate. (Dark green means nitrogen already did its job well, now it's another nutrients turn. But pot growers hate nutes so they blame the present nutes instead of adding the lacking nutes)
So your telling me this isn't good, and my bud will be low quality?

Awesome good to know!
So what do I do about my excess nitrate in my bud? Lights just came on seems like it's getting more purple, do I had some P?? Was hoping to harvest in 2 weeks
Don't add anything. That is normal for this stage in flower for a lot of genetics. Don't feed anything else just water until harvest in 2 weeks if you are worried about excess nitrogen, but I wouldn't be if I were you. If you go and check out other peoples finished grows you will see that it is quite common for color changes in the leaves before the end. Good looking plants you're doing well :weed:

All they have been getting is straight RO water for past week, week 1/2... initially I wasn't to concerned but then I read dudes comment and started to get worried.

Your bud looks great. Keep doing what your doing and just ride it out until harvest. Great job!!!

You probably could do a light feed if you're concerned, overall it looks great.
