hey everyone, i have my grow room design... im getting a 4'x9'x7'tall tent, with a 1000 watts of FL T5 lights 120,000 lumens, im growing 8 plants.

my question is what are the best ways to avoid detection in every sense. price isnt an issue. since i will be the only person who knows of the room i want to be sure no one else will either. i assume some sort of isulation and air filtering? so what works

i am assuming your using t5 so you dont have to worry about hear if thats the case noise control from fans make sure there is no light leaks and 3rd smell if you grow some good shit it will smell so look into carbon filters or ozone generators or both

ozone generators work real well bro i can smoke a bowl and blow the smoke in the back and nothing but good air comes out lol so having one shud eliminate the odor

thanks a lot guys for the replies... im not as much worried about the smell as i am the heat let off and the IR camera.... im also curious as to florida grow laws for just 8 plants

In Florida there are no mandatory minimum sentences for anyone convicted of cultivating 25 plants or less. That includes cuttings, mothers etc. Yes you will be arrested, but are not facing a permanent sentence. The most you can recieve will be one year which is the maximum penalty. It went from 300 plants to 25 just under a year ago. Ain't that a bitch? If you grew 1 plant it was the same penalty as 299.

Anyways, use infrared blocking material. If cost is not a concern, this will allow you to sleep better at night and is valuable where such heavy penalties apply. Check Youtube out for FLIR and Infrared blocking materials. Also don't vent hot air out a window, when FLIR cameras are used this is a dead giveaway. I learned this from a Barry Cooper video. Also learned they don't just send out helicopters anymore, they use small hand held cameras to monitor people for sales and growing. They also do not need a warrant like many feel comfortable believing. There is no such thing as honest police work anymore. The more busts they get, the more revenue for the state. Thats all they care about

Lastly, watch yourself when going to hydro stores for nutrients, lights etc and always use cash. I actually have seen the close calls with constant visits to my local store. Was followed home years ago. Hope this helped. Cheers man

thanks so much bro, you really did help a lot. do you know anyone who has been caught with just a personal grow. if so what was his sentence?

also is credit card tracking really an issue, i know its possible but i always just tell myself that they wouldnt waste time with that. what if you got a badass friend who would put it on their credit card and ship to their home, then i just pick it up?

well thats why i said if you are going to use flouresents like you origanlly stated flir wont be a concern but if u use a hps it might be

I'd like to state the fact that indoor gardens are not illegal, so unless it looks like you're producing a shitload you should be fine, this means don't string together 4x 1,000w HPS
