May have done this on one I think, is it possible to cut to high up in attempting to fim a plant?

Kind of just looks like I went too high and just chopped the leaves, and that it had no effect.

Stands for fuck I missed. It's a way of topping the plant to produce more cola buds, and regulate plant height.
