Final flush house and garden coco

Been slowly dropping my ec each day over past 5 days and I’m roughly at .6-8 atm, I put them into 24 hours dark and leached them with just enough water to keep the roots a little wet and without run off so I’m hoping it eats abit more tonight.. was wondering if I should turn lights back on tomorrow and flush next .4-6 ec out over next two nights and chuck them back into two days of darkness? I thought I was gonna harvest with a low ec around .6 but from what I’ve read everyone says drop it .2 and put in darkness for 24 hours.. not sure whether or not to turn the lights back on till I get the ec runoff right or am I just being a big worry wort for nothing as per usual?

What's the purpose of the darkness?
I feed to the day I chop and I never give it more darkness.
Apparently it’s a natural way of stressing the plant making it think it has gone into winter due to lack of light compared to summer days, from what I’ve been told it adds to the terps profile as well as the trichromes, any thoughts as to resuming flushing tomorrow?

I don't flush.......and most people don't. It's a stoner myth.
Do outdoor plants get 48 hrs. of darkness before winter?..........No.

Considering that I have never done that, I can't answer your question.

Good luck.

Flushing is a myth! You can NOT "FLUSH" anything from a living plant.
The 2 days of darkness is a myth too!

Fading or starving the plant is not a great idea either!
1 your keeping nutrition from the plant at a very important time
2 ANY type of "fade" will only cause the plant to send nutrients from it's other parts,,,RIGHT to where your trying to remove them from....

You'll probably be fine. It's not that bad if they get extra darkness as long as they still get the uninterrupted dark period.

Just stop fucking with the lights. Leave them on 12/12 until harvest. And flushing is for toilets.

So why don't you?
I did a side by side years ago and there was absolutely no difference in taste or smoothness.
I prefer to feed my plants to the end so they have everything they need for the best growth potential........doesn't make much sense to me to deny food at the most important stage of their life.

By all means do a side by side or one after another but ask friends to blind taste test it.
Confirmation bias is a real thing.

I agree I’ve just never tried it
