I've been on a mission for some time now to find a 1000W bulb with a complete kit. It arrived the other day and I'll post some shots later today with it still basically wrapped up. I'm about to hang this bad boy and see what it does. The ballast has a legit UL cert and it has an external 0-10v for a digital timer. It has preset wattages of course so we shall see. I'm really excited about this! The color isn't bad either it looks badass!! It's like this dark space gray color. Yes I know that has nothing to do with anything haaha just saying it looks cool.
I'm currently running 630W CMH bulbs in my fixture and they work great. However, this is just a basic experiment to see the if I see a difference in output and yields. The 630's are champs and do the job but just like any person more power sounds intriguing nonetheless. I don't want to say the name of the company just yet. I want to put it through its paces. Plus they aren't paying for this so I refuse to give free promo. This is just a peer review without any of the political b.s
But just in case anyone is wondering the kit came with one fixture with 1000W digital ballast, remote for ballast, hangers, double jacket DE 1000W CMH bulb 3100K, power cord and instruction paperwork.
