I think what I got here is a hermied auto plant, is that what you guys would say?
im finding those all over around the middle, by the stem, bottom of buds, mostly, that's why I thought they were just calyx....but there are way too many spread throughout the bud for it to be normal....anyone got some input? would be much appreciated. thanks all.

I had those on a couple of 4 mothers I flowered last round. I ended up with a handful of feminized seeds and a normal yield.

Wat are they tho? And can it be prevented? There are no seeds at all, i just couldnt think of a better term. Im wondering if this may be genetic, or solely an autoflower issue from the ruderalis side of the strains makeup. I am purely speculating though...maybe i should repost this in the autoflowering forum. Thought i'd try here 1st in hopes someone had dealt with the same issue, first hand.

The pics show wat looks like seeds but thet are not. Thats the msytery here...They have pistils on the tips, so thats why i mentioned that they remind me of calyx's.....just thought id clarify that. Any experienced input would be greatly appreciated... I only post when i can't find good info online. Thanks guys....

What strain is it? My super skunk autos had them it didnt effect quality or yield IMO. Could be an autoflower or genetic thing

Its an auto blue mystic. I didnt mention that i let it go quite a bit more then recommended. The breeder says aprx 56 day from seedling, iwent more like 76, because the trichs werent to my liking...
It does seem to effect the taste. I just never seen so many and wondered if its preventable.
I have since strayed away from autos....just havent been 100% satisfied with any auto strains i have grown. Photo is where its at imo......

Im with u 100 percent I did a few auto grows and its just not the same from my experiences. U have to have the time to harvest ur own seeds to kinda make it worth while. I also like to flip into flower when I decide ha

same here. the only allure to the auto aspect was how they stay short. I started out in a VERY small night stand box. bigger then a pc stealth box, but not much. lol....
I still do have height restrictions, but nowhere near as bad.

I have a strain of blue widdow thats 99% calyx & those lil chunks your ripping open are just calyxs that are swollen , its a good thing & you end up with fat chunky buds .

I prefer heavy calyx strains over heavy pistil strains , ya get alot more weight & you dont end up with an ounce of pure pistils in the drying rack .

There is nothing wrong with your plants , its a normal condition of a heavy calyx strain not indications of a hermi .

I have smoked for 20+ years and grown for 2, and never seen them in this abundance. Usually you get a few around the base of the flower, but Nonetheless, i'm happy to hear. Thanks guys...:bigjoint:
