Finishing flowering

I flowered under hps and everything is pretty much done but I’m aiming for more amber in my trichs so I’m wanting to leave them a bit longer. I’m sure this isn’t a new idea but I JUST had it so lol but I want to move them under a t5 to finish the trichs and hopefully give the buds a little color. Has anyone tried this or can anyone tell me any possible negative affects it’ll have on my buds

I have been finishing plants under a T5 with UV for years; right up until I upgraded my lighting just a few weeks ago. You can finish the plants separately under the T5 but it is even better to use the T5 alongside the HPS. Highly recommend installing full spectrum plus UV bulbs; check out Hortiluxe power veg/bloom w/UV or Agromax FS+UV bulbs. These bulbs add frost and help tighten up the cola bud. Problem is T5s do not have the same penetration an HPS does; the lower and inside buds could still end up kind of loose unless you have the space to employ both of these lights at the same time.

When I used HID, I would always finish out with a 1K 7500K MH lamp and [(2) agromax pure uv(s) on a 15 second per hour timer]) from week 8 onward. Back then I would use a combination of Whites (6000K to 6500K), and super blues (7500K to 15000K) as using those lights at the end of a flowering cycle has shown me that those lights can really pump up trichome production. I would use a US 7500K MH as my main light and (2) 4' ATI T5HO Blue plus, and (2) 4' AgroMax Pure UV(s) [15sph] Now I use samsung 4000K(s) LM301H boards to finish out, (from week 8 onward), but I still use (2) 4' ATI T5HO Blue plus lamps and (2) 4' AgroMax Pure UV(s) [15sph] lamps with my finishing 4000K led(s). And I still use the T5HO(s) with my 4000K finishing led(s) because when it comes to super blues and UV, the LED scene has nothing currently that truly is worth a damn...

I like to use 10k MH finishing bulbs for the last couple weeks, lower temperatures, lower CO2... Make sure to keep the feed going.
The temperature thing is actually my initial reason to move them. I want them to stay longer for the trichs but it’s a tad hot in my room so i either pull them now with milky trichs or move them and get more amber
