First attempt at Bonsai

Hi all! I just found this site and I feel like I’ve finally come home! Lol. I wanted to share some pictures of my first attempt at cannabis bonsai. The strain is Shipwreck and it’s in a 6in pot with organic potting soil. Just plain tap water and window light. I used LST and defoliation techniques. This is at about 2 months old.

It looks good so far, the only thing I'd do different is anchor the bottom of your stalk to the other side of the pot, allowing you to get more bend as you pull her top the other way. So your plant is from seed, not a clone? Is it Shipwreck fem or regular?
I used to do a lot of these back in the day, just bend er over LST and supercrop the shit out of it. I wish I hadn't lost all my old pics of grows, I had pics of crazy thick stalks, gnarled roots, the whole nine yards. And then life happens and you have to give up your greatest hobby for a few years.

Just keep doing what you're doing otherwise looks great! Any thoughts on when you might flip 12/12?

Thanks! I used a y shaped twig under the curve pushing up to give it more bend. I don’t think I’m going to worry about lighting. It’s in a window so I’m just gonna let it do it’s thing and see what happens.

Sorry, they are bagseed but, all 3 others I’ve played with were females. I think they came off a hermaphrodite.
