First attempt at cloning

OK. So I just took 5 cuttings, root geled them and put them in some cubes soaked in some clonex solution. Wish me luck! Should take at least a week if not 2 weeks right? As long as I keep em moist.

keep them constantly moist for the next 2 days, very crucial. and some may take up to 14 days so dont panic if its like day 9 no signs.

do you have a clong tray with a clear plastic lid that has air hole you can open/close? if not you need to get them enclosed and in 90%+ humidity.

Yeah, two weeks is average. I usually root my cuttings in old paper towel rolls filled with a seed starting mix, but your method is just fine. With the way I do it, I don't see anything until the end of the second week when all of a sudden they just explode out and by the third week the roots are between six and eight inches long.

I do have a humidity tray/tent. Just got it today!

I'm bout to give u the best info u have received on this thread. Screw clonex, rooting cubes, all that unnecessary shit. All u need is to go to eBay and spend 50$ on an oxycloner. Best 50$ I have spent since I have been growing. All it takes it a pair of scissors, 45 degree cut, and ph'd water. How easy does it get. Cut em on a 45 put them in the neoprene sleeves and sit back and watch the massive roots grow. I mean freaking huge roots. Actually I have cut my veg time back a week now cause this oxycloner gets the roots so big and strong the plants seem to grow noticeably faster. My wife even noticed the difference in size of some plants I cloned traditionally verses the oxycloner. U guys can do what u want but the oxycloner is where its at. My clone rate has been 100% for the last 8 months. Haven't lost not one clone yet and I'm no cloning guru. A kid could even have 100% clone rates its simple. Can I get a +rep please

On my very first cloning attempt i had taken 75 cuttings and had a 100% succes rate. 50$? shit heres what i paid...

8$ for cloning tray and lid
10$ for dyna gro cloning gel
and since i already purchased so much 100 1" rockwool cubes free.

ive also managed to clone in a cup of water, thats like .01$ for a cup of water.

That's awesome only thing I can really say is I bet in 10 days my roots are 2 to 3 times larger than urs. I have done countless cloning experiments and all I can say is the traditional cloning method just couldn't even come close to my oxycloner. That 50$ is a one time deal. That's just my experiences and .02 cents.
