Hi all,

I'm growing auto/fem short riders from Nirvana ,

There are 9 beautiful girls in 8litre pots , under 400w hps and feeding with bio-heaven and bio-bloom .

I think there are different phenos because the tallest one is 32 cm and the shortest is 18cm,

Here are some pics from day 30,

There are lots of pics so i uploaded different plants' pics as much as possible
Any comments and advices appreciated

Lookn good.

Glad they were autos. Watch out cause nirvana autos dont always flower under 24 hrs light, some times they need the light cut back to like 18-6 to induce flowering.
Just make sure you flower before you run out of room.

Ive always wanted to try the shortryders....

Hey Scarhole,

I started with 20/4 for the first week then changed to 18/6 , i'm thinking of changing it to 20/4 again because of grow room gets cold at nights , about 10-12 C

Autos...yes! Looking good....hope they do good for ya.....I'm a long time auto fan (and grower) and love those little plants......I often see different phenos show up when growing multiples of the same strain.....kinda makes ya wonder sometimes.... I recently grew some lowlife where one ended up looking like a snowball plant....very strange but was some great smoke!

I usualy grew all mine under 24/7 light.
yeap , i have no experience growing autos , i saw the notice on nirvana claims to use 18/6 or 16/8 lightcycle , and followed it ;

using a 24/0 light cycle. The fact that auto-flowerers are not photo period dependent, like regular cannabis plants are, does not mean that being bathed in light 24/7 is right for them. Many growers make the mistake of thinking plants need to be exposed to light as much as possible to grow bigger, when the dark period is actually when plants use that built-up light energy to develop roots and leaves. (obviously, using a dark period also means far lower electricity bills and heat output). Solution: switch to an 18/6 or even 16/8 light cycle.

Hi there
thought i'd chip in as i'm growing Short Riders from Nirvana as well
This is my 2nd grow - 1st was nirvana northern lights autos, which turned out not to be autos, but so far so good with these.
22 days in and all 3 are showing pre flowers. I've got her in normal B&Q compost with nirvanas flowering tabs (1 for each plant) so i only have to give them water, I've also started to do a little LST on them too, partly because of space issues but mainly because i did that with the NL and got 73grams off 1 plant even tho i fucked up a bit by over pruning her.
I'd recomend having a look at 'the art of the auto' thread, i picked up a wealth of info there and the guys posting on there are more than happy to offer advice to noobs like myself such as importance of ph levels and giving your plants big enough pots (this is apparently v. important with autos)
Keep posting krc, be good to see how your girls turn out for you.
Heres some pics of my 3 girls.

I do not recommend anyone grow short riders, it's very very unstable and sensitive to nutes , in 8 litre pots , i water each 1-1.5 litre adding 2-2.5ml bio bloom and bio heaven , for every 4-5 days , yet they're overfertilized , i'll skip feeding this week just water.i hope they cover .

my goal was getting 20gr average for a plant but it seems like yield will be less.

comments and advices really appreciated ,
