CIMG2152.jpgCIMG2155.jpgCIMG2147.jpgCIMG2149.jpgSo this is my first autoflower grow, i have the plants in their final container , some of my empty protien mix cans, their pretty big, do you think its adequate. These two are 7 dwarfs colossus , i soaked them in a paper towel for like 12 hours one was cracked and the other was just barely.. im very pleased to see they have already broke the surface just 24 hours later. I also have some easy rider or lowryder #2x coming from attitude, i will plant 1 as soon as they arrive so there will be a little staggering. One of my main concerns is i dont have any ventilation in my closet so i can keep it stealthy, no giant vents or any of dat shit lol, i just got this bag thing off amazon that emitts C02, will this be ok.. aand ill show you my seed collection lol the advanced critical im planting in june next year at my favorite fishing spot it said it gets like 3 meters high so ima be floatin:bigjoint: oh nd tha best part is everything i got is feminized CIMG2148.jpgill try to post pics every sunday

CIMG2135.jpgCIMG2134.jpgWell day 2 lol .. the one on the right is doing real well the seed attached to the stem is pretty cool ha, im worried about the other one, i guess i planted it way to shallow and when i was spraying it with water the WHOLE thing moved... so i very carefully took the bottom and put some dirt around it sprayed and did it again. the picture doesnt show it very well but there are green leaves starting to open the cotyledon or some shit but do you think she will survive???

sup man, interesting stuff with that CO2 bag. I've never heard of having NO ventilation lol I'm no expert so I'll see what others say about it.

I think you're poorly seedling will be fine. Just make sure the root is beneath the soil and maybe try to stand her up a little... they're very hardy plants and can usually take quite a beating, but you still gotta be careful, especially with lil baby seedlings so be very gentle!

Subbed :)
Have a looky at my set up when you get a mo' I'm flowering as of today after one month of veg. I have a shed set up so there's lots of obstacles lol being in the UK and outside, I'm expecting it to get real cold in the next month!

You picked the right site to get involved with mars, I've learned so much already!

yeah as Cumbers said ... no ventilation??... but there are 100's of ways to grow and i won't claim to know them, watching this one intently...

oh i had to remove one of my seedling due to doing a sloppy potting job... in 1 day it had gone from being 1/2 " tap root to 1&1/2".... had to make a much larger hole (with a screw) and shove the little fella down :-) .... its doing fine as you can see... just be very gentil

ha well 3 days since they popped up, ummm got the easyrider planted nd ill put up some pics of my door so i can get some advice on lightproofin tha bastard better,(its alot worse when the other light is on) oh nd i put up a pic of the nutes im using...
CIMG2138.jpgEasy rider CIMG2143.jpg heres the nutes CIMG2144.jpg
CIMG2137.jpg 7 dwarfs #1 CIMG2141.jpg and my damn door CIMG2142.jpg

well i can see from the pics of the door that the curtain is see through... the curtain is the right idea... but your gonna have to make sure its light proof (use what you have but tape several layers together old soil bags opened out, or pieces of tarpaling stuck together. pin it to the top of the door frame and tape it too... then do the same, pin and tape it down the hinge side of the door frame if you have enough overhang at the bottom and down the remaining (untaped side) it should when pulled into position block 99% of the light leaks... (tape and pins fix most stuff and can be removed without needing any repairs or making good)...

if there is still some visable leaks... you can get some sticky foam draught excluders for the door shuts..... or the brush types for the bottom of the door.

with the seedling ... if the seed is still stuck on the "ling" after a couple of days after sprouting its exceptable to mist the seedling and after 20 minutes EASE.. not Wrench the seed case off the seedling... i had to with one of mine... i misted it... let it soak in and when i gently touched it from shaft towards the tip it let go and slid off and its doing good now :-) ... be gentil and you wont harm it... i wouldn't use a cocktail stick or tweasers just because i wouldn't feel what i was doing propperly... but i guess thats my preference and others may say its better not to touch it ... but fuck it i wash my hands! lol

ok ill prob wait 1 more day nd see if it can muscle itself open , cuz thts thew one i had to help into the soil to nd i don think its got enough roots ta be fondeld yet but thanks for the advice man

Simply take Gorilla Tape in thin strips and run it all around the frame, right agianst the raised part where the door and frame meet.
Then take an old rag, cut it to the width of the door, roll it up and tape it right where the door rests when closed.
Very cheap and if you take your time and do it right very effective.
...Total Stealth.

im sure it will .... i had to take one out and make a deeper hole and put it back in ... then the seed got stuck on the top .... so its about 2" shorter then my other two... but just as advanced into flowering although its smaller .... so its veg got messed up by a couple of days... but the flowering timer kicked in on time.

good ta know nd you do got some thick stems man , you think its possible to purposefully strectch the autos toward the light so you mit get more bud??

troutie

i don't think stretching does any real good... it just means that the plant is trying to find more light .... which means thats effort that could be used for building a better structure... all visably streched plants i've seen have small buds

yeah makes sense its jus you see all the pics of autos on like attitude nd stuff nd they are some pretty ass plants lol , thinkin after christmas ima buy myself a 400 watt hps/mh light set off amazon maybe tht will help.... how bad are your plants reeking?? u think i even gotta chance of keeping tht smell in the closet??

Im a proponent of purposefully stretching some of the smaller autos. Im currently trying to add a little stretch early on to my Diesel as its supposed to be really small. But yea, there is a thin line there for sure, too much stretch can kill your yields. I think when you get the 400 watt, they will naturally stretch taller with all the extra light.

Im tuned in man!
