First CFL grow

I have done some LST - will post pictures tommorow. I have tied down most large leaves and allowed the CLFs to sit inside the plant and surround the main cola. If that makes sense. should i remove the ropes tommorow when the lights come on?

Hey timmy read the whole thread and looks awsome! let me know how its going my grow is sim so really would like someone to help me out and exchange ideas or i can even offer some. open to all! Anyway right on bro keep it up

So its been 21 days since it first came out of the ground and so far so good. I'm excited to start my next grow where i will be monitoring the temp/humidity and using more lights in a better grow box with proper ventilation there will also be a longer veg time and proper nutrients.

ANYWAYS...

Pictures are from 21 day and 22 day with a closeup of the nodes. No sign of sex yet and its on its 3 or 4 day of flowering i think under 4 26w CFL's.

It looks good man but honestly i think that you should have vegged for a little longer, i dont think the plant is big enough to produce very much bud, and if you dont let them veg long enough sometimes it takes up to two weeks after the switch to 12/12 for them to even show sex, your better off changing your light cycle to 18 on 6 off for two weeks before you switch to 12/12, just some advice but im sure everything will be fine just something to think about.

The thing is im not in my permanent residence yet so i only have 2 months left here so i just put it into 12/12 to see if i could harvest before i have to leave.

The soil is All Treat farms Potting soil.

From what i have read miracle grow is fine - it has a high pH so adjust your water. Find a soil/water diagram for pH adjustments so that you don't turn the soil to acidic. For a new grow time release fertilizers are good as long as you don't over water or add nutrients. The nutrients release with water so keep that in mind.

Hello I just wanted to stop by and let you know I have new pics up in the 7th week White dwarf. All done with CFL's. that led you see in the other pictures was just loaned to me so it had no part in the growth so far..

So i have bad news.. The plant has started to show pollen sacs. ( to the guy who said the sex would take weeks - 5 days!) Im gonna give it one more day just to confirm and then out it goes into the wild. So far im pretty confident and am excited to start my next grow in about 2 months when i move into my permanent residence.

Well i guess its deer food now - check out my new grow in a few months in the indoor growing thread. keep an eye for a 400wHPS grow.
