First closet grow any advice

Ok here's what i have done so far

I got some sour diesel seeds from a buddy, planted 3-4 seeds in a cup a total of 4 cups.

Mixture of miracle grow that feeds up to 6 months, Manure and perilite.

germinated over 2 weeks with these cfls http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Pack-45-Watt-6500K-Day-Light-Bulb-photo-Studio-compact-Fluorescent-light-bulb-/180972667051

Moved in a 3 gallon pot same mix now under a Metal halide light 400watts plus the same cfls, 3 days so far im running at 18/6. Here is the type of metal halide light i have http://tinyurl.com/ax5k5et There from a old gym i think but hey they were cheap 25.00 with ballast attached

Been feeding them superthrive, i mixed a drop in a Gallon distilled water once a day.

Im not getting any runoff of water coming out of bottom of pot not sure if there getting enough water..Using a Soil PH tester Moist says Wet when all the way down to bottom so water must be making it to roots. Ph on the soil tester is saying 7.5 to 8.0 which i heard was too high?

I'm waiting on buffer solution to calibrate ph tester, friend said to buy a ppm tds tester but not sure what i need it for yet ;)

Im worried about Humidity im growing in a closet and the humidity will only get to 30% and temps if closet doors are closed will get up to 81F so i have been leaving them opened and been steady at 75-77 temps..

Any advice if im doing something wrong. Some plants are looking yellow on leaves is that normal?

Are you going to be plucking one of the seedlings out of each of those pots? Should only have one per pot, as they tend to try to compete for the root space and end up being smaller plants and chocking each other.

30% humidity is nothing to worry about, when it gets around 50%+ then you'll start running into Powdery Mildew and other problems.

Other than that it looks great! Good Job.

looks good from here bud,
just get ready for some low stress training on those puppies.... more than 1 per pot is not the best idea, but you can bend and tie and etc....,
i've grown 5 clones outtta one 5 gal bucket DWC, so not impossible, just gets crowded.
i have more exp in h2o, but yellowing could be just some underwatering... just dont make any ABRUPT moves, also the ph is a little high, but that wont kill anything.
TDS meter is not a MUST, i do not use any. plus you can find out what your water is at by looking it up online. nutes as well.
you really just want to avoid any EXTREME changes ya know. anywho....good luck, subbed

HAPPY GROWING!

That size plant in a 3 gal container doesn't need to be watered every day. You should visit them and turn them a few times a day but your watering schedule at that size might be every three to four days. A great way to know when to water is by picking it up. When it feels light, hit it hard until water DOES come out the drain holes. Looks good!

Ok so here's a Update i started on general hydroponics Floragro, Floramicro, Florabloom on jan 16 2013, They loved it and responded well i also removed that cheap mylar blanket and just used white walls which seemed to instantly brighten the room..

My issue is the PH levels i have both the soil and digital ph meter and my runoff is still at 7.5.... I bought some PH down an added a drop to a gallon and got it down to 5.5 and fed the plant that for two days and its hasn't dropped at all? No nutrients just distilled water with ph down at 5.5 is there something I'm doing wrong? I mean they are looking fine but i was told to get ph down to 6.5

Maybe its the Miracle grow keeping it high or the manure im not sure.

If I had the soil/ nutrient combo you do I would hold off with the floragro for a while and wait until I saw a slight nitrogen deficiency before adding any grow fertilizer. When you go into flower I would use 1/4 to 1/2 of the recommended bloom dosage to start. I'm not really sure what micronutrients are in the time release soil/manure so thats an unknown. You will have a little problem maintaining ph until things stabilize but you're not in any real danger. good luck!

when you water the plants, you want 10% run off.. try flushing the soil with ph corrected plain water..no nutrients.. 5.5 is a little low for soil.. aim for 6.2 ph.. it doesnt have to be exactly 6.2 just close enough.. I also use MG soil but its the MG moisture control.. That dirt comes with nutrients in it so dont over feed your plants. What dosage are you feeding?

I'm Doing the late growth Week 3 feeding schedule base nutrients 5ml of gro/5ml of micro/2.5ml of bloom in one gallon of distilled water, feeding every 3 days splitting the gallon between the 4 pots... 3 pot's have three sour diesel plants in them, one pot has two sour diesel plants in it which is clearly showing the height difference now... i made a dumb mistake should have done one per pot.

I checked the water with nute mix and im getting 6.6 before i fed them, i have fed them that 3 times so far and like i said they responded very well, but my friend said to get soil ph down to 6.5 i gave them 5.5 ph yesterday and today and runoff didn't move from 7.5. He said the marks on the fan leaves are from wind burn so i just moved fan lower tonight aiming more toward the stem oscillating...I will try just plain distilled water which is 6.5 should i flush everyday or every three days ? Im just worried im going to over water them..

Also noob grower 1 it is the mg that feeds up to 6 months which im thinking is the issue. I have never gave the plants nothing higher then a ph of 6.7 top so it has to be soil. Thanks again everyone for all your help ill keep you updated with pictures

You might try getting away from the distilled, I've noticed some guys say it's TOO clean.
Is there some reason you're not using your tap water, R/O water, or bottled spring water?
Don't flush them every day or every 3 days, just wait until the next time they need water (I think somebody already outlined that for you) and run 3 or 4 times the pot size worth of plain Ph'ed water through.
If you water enough (when you do your regular water), the chances of NEEDING to flush will be reduced.
Try to water enough that you get runoff, so you know you are watering the whole pot, not just the top half.

I heard that distilled water was better for the plants im not fortunate enough to have r/o water and spring is the same price as distilled 0.87 cents a gallon here, I have very hard water where I live and lots of salt in the water, you say 3 times the pot size there 3 gallon pots each im getting plenty of runoff the plants are in a puddle and it comes out within a minute of watering. I have flushed 2 days straight tons of runoff every watering I have done except the first two waterings have had runoff.
