First Dry Ice hash

this is my first time making hash in any method and I'm using dry ice with 160 micron 5 gallon bag. Don't know if this turns out good or not I was shaking it and first it was brown then green it's purple diesel and not sure if it's because it's 160 micron bag. With lower micron bag will it turn out better, what's the difference between them higher number micron bag and lower number micron bags? Now do I just scrape it up and put it in my bong and smoke or do I have to do something to it? Any suggestion would help me a lot.

looks like you ran it too long. The greener the hash the more plant material is in the mix. I separate into different "grades". 1st run is blonde always. I have never used other micron bags, I think I use 120, and have for awhile.

looks pretty nice to me id have it anyday. now you can either cook it, or press it. i personaly prefer the pressing as more of the golden colour stays and looks more pure.

did some more and right when I shake the bag the green leaves comes out not sure if it's because of the bag but not gonna do anymore hash maybe next season with better trims.

I think you did a great job. It's dry ice hash, so yeah it's going to be a little green. A lot of the plant material turns to dust with heavy shaking and that low of a temperature. Once you do it a few times you'll get better at keeping it at a lighter color. Having multiple bags or screens helps too, but again I think you did a great job. How long did that take you, three to five minutes? Sweet deal if you ask me. Next thing to do is pour the hash into a press and shape them into cubes or discs and jar them up.

Yes it's really fast compare to the bubble has that I've seen on youtube the first shake I got about 13 grams and did some more but didn't weight it. I never used hash before and don't know what to do with it I put some on my bud and smoke it and didn't like it.

how much did you run thru to get 13g

gonna guess it was well over 3 oz right?

Make edibles!!! I feel like its the best for dry ice hash. just warm up some butter in a glass and mix it in

i use about a gram per dose. so if i make muffins (6) illl use six grams so each one has a g. sometimes 7 just to make it an even quarter.

Make sure you keep the temp down to 300 when cooking. i keep mine at 275 just to be safe because some ovens do what air conditioners do

Which is wait til the temp drops a certain amount below your set temperature then over heats it so itll hold its heat longer. so just to be safe keep it low and slow. and try something like brownies or cakes. i find that muffins (which should be cooked on 4-450) are alot harder to dial in than brownies (which cook on 3-350 max) so its easier to drop the temp 25-35 degrees instead of 100

I'm not sure how much I use didn't seem much to get 13g it's more than 13g didn't weigh the other one that's in a zip bag. Not sure how to use for edibles but I'm gonna wait and see what I'm gonna do with it.

You can press it between two pieces of wax paper. If it stays in a block you did good. Let it sit for about a week in the open air to dry.
If you can't squish it into a puck you went too long.

Don't try and get too much out, you can allways run the leftovers through iso or butane and do a second extraction that way.
