YAH!!!! Those are looking real good. In about 3 weeks those babies will start to swell up nicely. Just have patients, and you will be rewarded well.

Ya, to be honest man I'm pry going to switch to Dyna-Gro after my AN run out. They are good nutes, but they overprice and just have a bunch of unnecessary additives. I mean they have a purpose put they spread out their product into a bunch of bottles instead of a few. Homebrewer did a comparison grow between dyna-gro and AN if your interested. Thats not the only reason I'm switching but played a good role. I really don't like their marketing tactics which include bashing the opposing nutrient lines either. Looking good on your set-up!

Yea I agree with ya......I noticed the same thing with Homebrewer myself and I will be following up with Dyna-Gro after my AN runs out as well. Thanks for the rep. I will update with pics later today...can't wait to go look inside the tent...lol. Can't believe how addicting it is......should have done this yrs ago....lol.

Any one have an idea of when I should flush(will be using Final Phase)? I just started using Overdrive, which is suppose to be used for 2 weeks before flushing. I figured they would take about 9 weeks(they started budding late, possible cause of a light leak), that's why I just started using Overdrive. Just wondering if I'll see something with the trichs or hairs to tell me to flush?

I think you still have 3-4 weeks before they are finished. So 2-3 weeks before you start a flush. 5 years ago most of the people thought you would be stupid to not flush. Now about half the people seem to think it is a waste of time to flush. I still give my plants just PH'd water for the last 5 days.

Thanks for your thoughts LDB. Ya, I've been reading some threads where a lot of people don't flush these days, but I did already buy Final Phase(flushing nutrient) so I might as well use it.

Two days ago I clipped off some yellowing branches that were pretty much on the floor and getting almost nothing for light(pic below). I tried some of the bud off them and let me say I was pleasantly surprised. For being small premature bottom buds not receiving any light and only being dried for 2 days, I wasn't really expecting this big of a punch. I really want to know what strain this is now so I'm going to have to do some investigating with the old timers and family that grow this strain. Wish I could send ya guys a samplebongsmilie. lol.

Well I talked to one of the old timers and I'm about 90 percent sure the two big plants I have in flower are Northern Lights. Not a bad strain as far as first indoor grow goes. Actually probably one of the best because from what I've always heard it is a very easy strain to grow that adapts to environments well. Any NL growers out there I can compare to?

-I vegged for about 5 weeks not including the first week of rooting.

-Avg. room temps at night are around 68 degrees F(which is when my light is on) and during the day the room itself will be about 80 but my AC blows on the canopy so near the plants is lower around 70. On really hot days it can get hot in there even with the AC.

-This grow I have my light to close and can't raise it or lower the plants so that's why the top leaves are crispy, my next crop will be better maintained and trained lower to avoid height problems and burning.

-I check res. temps with my TDS meter and I'm not going to lie, They stay about 80(suppose to be in high 60's). I haven't had root rot or slime and only a little bit of browning that most likely is caused by the nutes. It was just to much of a pain to add frozen water bottles in every bucket so right now I'm making a recirculating DWC for my two that will be latest in flowering. It will be easier to control temps cause I only have to add frozen bottles to the res. I intend on keeping a lower res. temp next crop cause I think I got really lucky with this one. I'm also thinking about making a homemade water chiller.

Ya I don't think its bad for my first indoor grow but at least now I know how I could improve. I'm happy with the AN's but i fully intend on switching to dynagro. Cheaper, doesn't have too many additives, and is at my hydro store. That and I hear they outperform AN but I'll see for myself.

Well I've had problems with my RDWC because of a faulty connection:evil: so these plants have had only one airstone:-?(didn't have a choice) in their buckets this week. I now have two in each bucket and will have my RDWC set up soon.

Anyways:

I'm starting to see an increase in orange hairs now and I'm starting to think I need to flush soon. The buds I have pictured are of two different plants, one of which has more orange hairs(you'll be able to tell the difference). This is day 53 of 12/12. Any help would be appreciated, especially from LDB.
